AIBU to loathe 'Lizzie' & Nigel?

Sorry to insert an AIBU here, but it seemed the right place! I've just had a nice rant about Helen, and it got me to thinking about the other Archers characters I can't stand.

Most of them, actually , but especially Lizzie'n'Nigel. Listening to them smugly congratulating themselves on Lower Poxley's Winter Wonderland made me feel quite nauseous.

Why are they so vile?

Lizzie and Nigel only seem to have conversations with no background noise. So they just sound like they're talking to each other in a cupboard. I think that's the problem I have with them.

They are dual Antichrists, Nigel is so up himself that I can't believe he doesn't disembowell himself. He's also so fake, "Oh Jeepers Creepers, the candlelit tree walk is full of pixies and elves and reindeer, Lizzie isn't it twinklesome! Come upstairs at once and put on that bus conductor uniform and beat me til I'm covered in Weals you hussy!"

Brian and Matt and Helen's mum are the best actors. Kenton needs to be eaten by beagles.

Have never hear them have a conversation that sounded remotely realistic - does anyone have a marraige where they talk to theri partner like that, as if maaking small talk awkwardly with a complete stanger at a cocktails party. Can't stand 'em.
Best value are are Carrie, Eddie & Joe, Lilian and Matt, and good ol' Brian.
