Help! Need double buggy with a short wheelbase

Hello, am in desperate hope of what I fear is the impossible. We are planning to buy a flat which is on the second floor of a large building and has a lift, but the lift is tiny.
We measured up today and it practically only just let the single maclaren in with a little space left. There's really only a metre length to play with.
I measured the P&T and the total length is about 120 cm so that's out.
Are there any other double buggies (not side to side as lift too narrow) that aren't as long as P&T? Otherwise think will have to rethink purchase of flat completely.
TIA

There is this "one"
Or a obaby zoom or the mothercare hoxton. I have seen one like the hoxton but with handles like a maclaren and a front seat the reclines but can find it on-line at the moment.

It depends what age you children our and your buget a buggy board or pod or a baby sling may also be an idea

Can you store a buggy downstairs, and just take kids up in the lift? Or collapse buggy?

Slings work well for newborns (we didn't bother with double with a 2.5y age gap)

Are you sure it's too narrow for side by side? A side by side Maclaren is only something like 77cm

Is this really the flat of your dreams (access problems aside)? is it worth being on the second floor with the toddler and a newborn if you are in a position to avoid it?

Thanks for the messages and sorry for the late acknowledgement - for some reason I posted the question twice on the boards so have two separate sets of answers!

Castle that one looks great. DC2 not born yet but there will be a 2 year gap so not sure if I could get away with just sling if I have a big baby - DC1 might still need the pushchair once DC2 has outgrown sling?

Jareth that's an interesting comment because since i posted we have been rethinking slightly. Found out there is a neighbour directly below who made a written complaint about the little boy above "running up and down the hallway" and came and knocked on the door when there was an hour long children's party so I suspect the whole place might not be all that child friendly....
