i am selling my P&T Vibe. Have put it on a three day auction but now wondering whether I would be better off doing Buy It Now.

here

Been following Vibes on Ebay. They seem to go for between £350 and £375. I saw one go for £200 and one for £400 but not really much variation otherwise.

I'd like £375 - and am now getting worried it'll go for £200. I should just BIN, shouldn't I? other BINs are on at £400 - I could just go for £375.

Only things that might make mine go for more than £375 are the liners (take a look, what do you think? ) and my location for collection. Am in Croydon which is very accessible by train and car for lots of London and South East.

Help! Thanks in advance.

You could try a BIN along with best offer. Try a BIN slighty less than the others, if you are alright with it. Might sell quickly!

Id try a BIN of £390 tbh. with the liners its got something extra and is still under the BIN price of similar items, looks good condition, would think itll sell pretty quickly although personally would probably pput on BIN for 5/7 days rather than 3. hth

You will get far more for it if you are prepared to post.

Easy enough to post a pushchair. Stick it in a big box, tonnes of parcel tape. Arrange online for a courier to come and collect it from you.

You will get more interest, sell it faster if you are willing to post!

I always buy "parcelforce 24h service" through paypal (they have a deal with ebay) for £11.99 and drop off at my depot (think it costs £25 if you want them to collect from your home, and the depot is only around the corner from us really).

I only use BIN (no offers) due to multiple time-wasters making offers - then telling me they no longer wanted it after I "accepted" the offer. Leaving me to report them as "non paying bidders" in order to claim my final value fees back!!!

So, my advice would be "BIN" and set it up so they have to "Pay immediately by paypal" (or the item remains listed until they pay) which saves a whole lot of hassle from timewasters on ebay!

Ask a cheeky price - list for 30 days - you can reduce the price after a couple of weeks if no interest.

You are much less likely to sell if you don't offer postage. It's not that hard to make up some cardboard boxes into a package the right size using parcel tape. Don't attempt to post in a bin bag though (I have bought one that arrived damaged when packed this way!).

I have to say, it depends mostly on "who's shopping" as to how fast your item sells. I had a buggy - couldn't sell it for £15 bin (it was a babydan stockholm in top condition), so I waited a while - relisted at £50 and it sold!!! (It was worth the £50 mind - and I'm glad we didn't give it away at £15 - husbands idea just to "clear the space" - however we did need the money!).

Be patient. Good luck!

Definitely put on that you will deliver. Don't put it on your description but on the actual listing itself as a lot of people only look for delivery first rather than at the description.

Make sure that you do your listing to end on a Saturday or Sunday as well, as again people look for prams ending soonest and most Ebay traffic is at the weekend.

Good luck selling!

agree if you are willing to pack and post it will sell fast. but your bin on for longer than you would an auction up to 10 days doesn't cost anymore..good luck!

Where in Croydon are you? I've posted 3 phil and teds doubles and a side by side double phil and ted too - using bike boxes from Cycle King on Brighton Road (near the Swan and Sugarloaf). I use Senditnow who use parcelforce and they've always accepted them with no problem as long as well packaged (ie no bits sticking out)
