First wheels city twin - will it fit in my car?

I've bought a First Wheels City Twin on Ebay and my MIL picked it up for us and so I haven't tried it in the car (Mercedes 'A' Class - the smallish upright style ones).

MIL says that we would be very lucky to get it in our car because the buggy is so big, and so I may need to sell it on (I may need to anyway because I've also heard that ds (will be 2) won't fit in it, but that's another issue...), so I was wondering if anyone would be able to advise me of whether it will fit in the car based on their experience, so that I don't waste a 5 hour round trip to get it!

Thanks in advance

I had one and it did fit in the boot of our Daewoo Tacuma but it took up the whole boot and we had to remove the parcel shelf.

Fab pram to push but is bulky. You could probably get it in the car to get it home but you probably wouldn't want to be faffing with it on a regular basis.

Good luck - I'm on my 6th double pram!!

Oh wow, 6! Good to know I'll probably get it in the car. I never bring the buggy in the house now so perhaps it might be do-able, but we'll see. Which has been your best double pram, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks for responding!

the most practical one I've had is my Phil and Ted. I really didn't want it but eventually gave in and it has been great. In hindsight, should have got it a long time ago but it's been fun trying all the others

Oh yes, maybe feeling the same as you did - I think I don't want one but I have heard lots of people raving about theirs. Maybe after the baby is in the 'pram' stage. My ds still faces me often in his current pushchair so it's a bit of a struggle finding something practical but not too different. Thanks
