DC2 due in a couple of months when DD will be just turning 3. She's a pretty good walker but still likes a sit in the puschair when were out for long periods of time. Don't want to buy a double pushchair so options seem to be a buggy board attached to Bugaboo or one of these buggypods
They look fab... Are they?

Hiya,

In a word - NO

I hated everything about it and sold without even taking for a test drive.

It really compromises the chassis of the pushchair, makes it awful to steer (and that's indoors on a flat laminate surface)and is too cumbersome.

Plus it is not a very comfy seat and quite titchy too.

I would steer clear and invest in a good buggy board instead.

My eldest was 2 years and 2 months when her sister cam along and we got by with just a buggy board and when we were out altogether for a long time hub would take a second pushchair.

O no, really?

That's v disappointing, thought we had chanced upon the perfect solution!
Is the seat v small? My DD is v tall for her age and is starting to look squished in our umbrella pushchair- does the buggy pod offer less space than that?
What pushchair did you haveit attached to? Do you think it makes a difference?
Think I will have to find a retailer and go and have a look!

Yes, it is small, it's waaay narrower than a volo or similar.

If you want to put it on a tank type buggy it might be better but personally it wouldn't work brilliantly as it's so cumbersome.

I had it on a maclaren type as well as a stonking 3 wheeler, cr@p on both.

Maybe someone else had a good experience though but I have only read other poor reviews.

I honestly think you shouldn't waste your time on it though.

They are great in theory though!

Oh...but their customer service is fab!
