hello all, i'm quite new to this topic as i'm only 6 weeks pregnant and know its far too early to be looking at puschairs.

but my fiat panda failed its MOT today and as the boot is very very small and unlikley to fit a pushchair in we went puschair shopping to see if we could find one or see if we would have to sell the car and buy a new one.

right you with me?

anyway we found the silvercross halo dandelion and ventura carseat nad i think i'm in love if fits perfectly in my car and even leaves extra space for shopping etc. its the right price and although were not going to buy it right this seond, as its still early days and so much could still go wrong, it just seems perfect.

but i wanted to get some reviews from people who had one before we made a final decision.

there is no basket under the pushchair and no handels to hang shopping bags on (i know your not ment to do it!) how annoying is it not to have storage space?

and are there any other down sides to this pushchair?

Hello,

I've never had one but I looked at it on mothercare and it doesn't look very strong - just those thin struts holding the seat up?

If you have tried it and it feels Okay then go for it, but I would be concerned they might create a weak point iyswim. especially if your child is the sort to climb or wriggle a lot.

Also yes you really need to have some storage for shopping or bags. I can't quite grasp why they have designed a buggy without any!!

I had a Halo (ICE) - My DH has a Citroen c2 - tiny boot - which is why we had it. It was incredibly strong, really easy to use (as in attaching the car seat), steered really well, I used some of the buggy buddy clip things on the handle bar - they velcro on and can be used to attach bags too.
The no underseat storage was a bit of a pain, but the bungee straps can actually keep quite a lot under them - raincover & apron etc.
If it fits your car, and budget then I'd definately keep it in mind. There are also some good offers on at the moment.
