Upper weight limits

Help I am very confused over upper weight limits. I am not that keen on strollers but I do need something that is lighter and smaller folding than my P&T for use perhaps twice a week. So after advice from you ladies I decided to give the Quest a go. Only I have noticed that the upper weight limit is 15kg. My DS is 18months and I am sure he must be around this weight now. The upper weight limit on the Quest, XT and XLR is also 15kg but higher in America. I cant think why it would be different but possibly they aren't tested above 15kg in the UK? If this is the case then a Quest would still be ok or that actually perhaps an XT or XLR will be better for DS's weight?
What are your opinions?
TIA

15kg is 33lb, i'd be surprised if your 18 month old weighs that much tbh, unless he's particularly big??
my chunky 2 yr old only weighs 13kg

Most strollers are only 15Kg max but like you say, this is different in the USA with Macs. I have a Babydan Stockholm which is the only stroller I have found with a higher limit of 23kg. However, have road tested my 5 year old in a techno XT with no problems.
I did find my friends 2 year old dd quite hard to push in her Quest - think XT/XLR would be better for an older or heavier child.

My dd is 18 months and 29lb so not far off the weight limit. She is not obviously big IYSWIM.
I think most buggies have 15kg as the upper weight limit - not sure why this is the 'limit' though?

DS does not look massive he is just kind of solid, still loads of room in 18-24 clothes. A good few weeks back he weighed about 26/27lb if my memory serves me correct, about the same as my DD who is 3 lol. I am so confused now, no idea what to do

I have a bjcm for this reason. It's easier for me to push with a bigger toddler than any 2 handed umbrella fold. It's every bit as convenient. Perhaps more so with super easy quick fold and easy set up. Can do one handed!
I've lots of kids and tried almost everything and just love the bj range. Really easy and nice to push for me. Really comfy and roomy for dc. Has higher weight limit too!

My DS was 15.5kgs at 18 months and I had him in a M&P Luna until he was 20 months when DD was born then he was in the P&T.
He is now 31 months and 17.5kgs and if I just have him and not DD and he doesn't want to walk then he uses a Zapp and I find it fine to push with him in it.
