Best pushchair - robust with good brakes??

I need a new pushchair for dd2 who is almost 2. I've narrowed my needs down to it needing to be fairly lightweight but robust/all terrainy - I have a zia but it can't cope with anything but smooth pavements (I have been housebound with the snow as our pavements are rubbish at the best of times). The zia has put me off 3 wheelers. I like the lightweightness of maclarens but hate the brakes. As dd is almost 2 I would prefer not to spend a lot of money (under £100) but I am open to 2nd hand...
so ladies what will it be??

Baby Jogger City Mini

Thats the one you need. I love mine, and the brakes are fantastic.

Or if you want air tyres, you can get its bigger model, BJC Elite.

A bit more than your £100 though, but oh so worth the extra money.

Nipper 260, absolutely fab. Nice all terrain tyres, very light weight and small when folded but a nice big seat.
Nicer fabrics than the Baby joggers too IMO
Also fab brakes.

I also think the Nipper 360 is good. But costs more than £100, but you might get second hand.

Thanks -
How wide is the baby jogger?? I also don't like the wideness of the Zia - would prefer something more compact....
daisy - did you mean 360? I can't find a 260 model when I googled it??

Another vote for the Bsby Jogger City Mini.

Love mine

BJCMs are really great. We bought one for a trip and it was awesome! It folds really easily in half a second (unlike the maclarens with their "push here, hold this and bend down and the same time") into a flat 'book' that's really compact and can fit anywhere. It's sturdy and easy to push; feels solid, especially considering its weight. The brake is also really good and well positioned (haven't had a 2year old in it yet, but I bet it can handle the heavy duty wriggling)
The only downside for us is that it's not rear-facing... but manufacturers have yet to come up with a rear-facing lightweight buggy.

My very tall 4 year old fits in my bjcm no problem.

Ok - anyone know where I can get one for under £100 delivered
