Britax Vigour 3 or 4?

I really want a rear facing pushchair for DS2 - a hefty and long 6 month old - that I can get in and out of the car easily. The poor boy spends his life in and out on the 3 different school/nursery runs and I would like to have him rear facing so that he can see me when I have usually just woken him up for the umpteenth time (he's too big for the baby car seat to be lifted out and attached). I can't be doing with faffing around taking the seat unit off like the Bugaboos so the Britax pushchairs look quite good in this respect.

I know people rave about the Loolas but I don't like the handles instead of a handlebar setup (I usually end up carrying an equally heavy and long and grumpy DD2 as well).

Any thoughts?

The loolas are a bit pants IMO, although you can get the loola up now if you so wished with normal handlebar?

I had the 4 and didn't like it, no experience of the 3 though

You have to take the seat unit off a 3, don't know about the 3+. Plus extremely heavy to lift & awkward, not easy to get in and out of car at all! (I have a 3, 3+ are same weight)). You don't have to take the seat unit off a bugaboo bee btw but they are meant to be quite small so might not do for your boy.

Thank you all for your replies. I have a couple of 3 wheelers already which I love (both Mountain Buggys) but for when the children are older. I saw a 4 today and it looked pretty hefty for an in/out-car buggy.

I also saw the Bee (I was lurking in Mothercare) and thought that would be good if it was a few hundred pounds cheaper! I can't justify such a purchase for a year's use.

My search continues...
