Mutsy 4 Rider

Hi

Saw the Mutsy 4 Rider at the Oxford Pram Centre yesterday and just loved it. Does anyone have one that they can share their experiences please? Also, would it be better to go for a separate car seat (we have a Britax) and the Carrycot for the Musty or to go for the Msuty Traveller car seat that lies flat and so won't need the carrycot?

Thanks.

I had one of these, and thought they were ok. Very sturdy pram, easy to push but quite heavy to lift into a car. Not a problem of course if you don't drive all the time.

Hey! I was also in the Oxford Pram Centre looking at the Mutsy!!!
I'd also like to hear about what people think about it - thinking of buying one of Ebay....
The thing I like most about it was how sturdy it felt and how high up the carrycot was.
Would love to hear some experiences.

i love mine. am using it for second time at the moment. have tried the i candy apple and pear and find them both flimsy in comparison. i cannot praise the musty enough. i got a maxi cosi car seat and a carrycot but must admit that i have hadly used the carry cot. my only compaint would be the size of the basket

I have an Urban Rider, so not quite the same, but I'm really, really impressed with it - fab pram. I've had it 2 months which is a record for me! I agree about the basket - just about to buy an add-on one. I don't drive though, it's a rubbish pram for the car because it is mahoosive.

Thanks ladies for your replies. I also really liked the height of the carrycot, esp as i'm 5ft10 and DP is 6ft1. I'm going back on Saturday to have another look and to view the Babystyle Oyster which I've read is really good and not as heavy as the Mutsy (although made by the same firm). Any opinions on which is better? We will be putting it in the car a fair bit.

The mutsy traveller car seat does lie flat, but it's not COMPLETELY flat like the carrycot is. Does anyone think that this is an issue? Do you think you could use it as a substitute for the carrycot?
