Pushchairs
Small pushchair/buggy
fluffydog · 05/12/2009 20:40
Am looking for a small pushchair/buggy as we are going away for Christmas and have so much stuff to take and have quite a small boot in our saloon car - does anyone have any suggestions? We will probably do quite a bit of walking and DS is nearly 1yr old.

I agree BJCM. Easy to push (not offroad type tyres but copes with rough terrain better than an umbrella type), easy to fold, longevity as it will last your child until they no longer need it (huge seat), Great hood and raincover, Good recline, decent basket, I probably could go on!!!
I love my BJCM can you tell?!

When we dont have much space in our car we take a backpack carrier instead of a buggy - you can stuff some stuff in it while in the car - and is great for walking with.
Otherwise the quinny zapp is pretty tiny - could fit it into a footwell in its carry bag if need be... though doesnt recline and no space to put anything under it and dont put bags on it or it tips over...

I third the BJCM. I love mine! It folds really flat, and the wheels come off if needed.

We went away in the summer and I popped my BJCM back wheels off and it went on the parcel shelf. Another vote for it!

Is the BJCM really that small? How does it compare to the zia or zapp?
5inthesleighbed · 07/12/2009 11:16
Its bigger than the zap or zia, but is so much more sturdier and the hood is great. a look.Jhn Lewis sell them, so if you live near one, I'd go have

Thanks 5inasleighbed..no john lewis nearby unfortuantely. Will have a look at the measurements.
Also is there much of a recline when the seat is fully upright. I have a mothercase urban detour that my son hates as the recline is too much when he is upright.

The recline isn't too bad, better than what a Zia is.
