bumper and handle bar covers?

Hoping someone can advise me. I've bought a second hand First Wheels City Twin which is lovely but has a couple of rips in one bumper bar and in the handle bar. Is there somewhere I can buy covers??

I did see bagabottle bumper bar covers on ebay which were for a Bugaboo Cam - would that be about the right size? Haven't seen any handle bar covers for a double though.

thanks

Hi,
sorry no advice on the bumper covers other than that I bought a handmade lycra one from an ebay seller a while back and it's been great. I suppose they could make them to any spec.
What I was really wondering is how you are getting on with the first wheels city twin? I have been deliberating for ages as I have number two due in april and desperate for a parent facing double. How is it to push/ get up curbs? Does it fit in the boot of your car? Sorry to hijack!

Hi rightsaidfred - I do love the pram so far BUT I haven't actually used it properly. DC4 not due till Feb so will let you know more then. I have tried it with DS1 (3.6) and DS3 (1.4) and it was quite easy to push about (in the house) I was able to steer it with just 1 hand which I thought was quite impressive. It's the pram that I wanted to get when expecting DS2 but he was stillborn so didn't end up getting a double.. With DS1 and DS3 there was 2yrs between them so I couldn't justify the cost... Am really pleased to have it now though. I love the fact that I can still have a proper carrycot pram for new baby

It is quite compact when folded for a double but you do need a fairly large boot - especially as it's the frame plus the seats/carrycot. I won't have it in the car much though as will just do sling/buggy and use the pram when out and about walking.

Anyway, if I remember, I'll let you know more in Feb

rightsaidfred - if you're checking this, thought I'd update you. Pram is fab!! Am really loving it and even DH is impressed and it takes a lot for him to be impressed with a pram! We've been out a few times and it really is good - not heavy in any way. Even managed to get it in the local shop without any problems which I wasn't expecting!
