Using a buggy board with a bugaboo bee

Hey all bee owners,
I need to get a buggy board for my new (well, new to me anyhow) bee. I know bugaboo are due to be bringing one out but I can't see it in any shops yet - and anyhow I'm hoping to get one 2nd hand on ebay as I need to keep costs down.

Can anyone tell me about a brand of board they have used with the bee? And if it worked ok?

yes it is the same one, I would get new though unless comes with all bits. They come with black plastic sleeves when new which increase the diameter of the frame on one of their models. I put these on the bee frame and then clip the board on top, it increases the size so would wobble without and stops marks on chassis too.

I thought the mutsy board was good as needed no fixings and had adjustable depth with no tools needed. You may struggle if you are really tall but I found it surprisingly easy to push, it also looks good as the wheel is similar in style to the bee.

john lewis have it on their system, afaia they're waiting for stock any day now. if you use another board your guarantee is void, void, void, and according to the woman i spoke to at JL they actually do hold to that.

Hmm, I can't see it on their website aitch - I might give them a call to find out what the rrp will be.

The mutsy board is about £40 new so that's not too bad. I don't know if my guarentee is valid anyhow cos I bought an ex-display model of the Bee - I'm going to try to register it but who knows! One thing I wanted to ask is WHERE on the chassis is the serial number? I can't see one on mine and don't know if that's cos I'm being dim or if it's cos there isn't one due to it being exdisplay.

it[s somewhere mad, i can't exactly remember, but it tells you when you register. you do have rights, i'm sure, even if exdisplay. and no, not on the website, actually they don't have any bugaboo boards on the site at the moment, but they do have them on their stock list. apparently only going into bluewater, aberdeen and somewhere else, strangely, but being JL they'll get it sent to you for nothing as it's over fifty quid. (56 i think)

Can't recommend Lascal maxi highly enough. Have used it on a Mclaren and M&Ps (not Bugaboo) and the best thing about it is that all the parts are replaceable individually and v easy to substitute. After 2 years' hard wear, we've just replaced the wheels, having replaced the odd clip here and there along the way, including a couple that can fall out if the buggy falls from a height straight on to them, eg dripped by baggage handlers. But once you realise that's an issue, you just tape them up if you ever fly.

We don't fly so that's ok.
Do all of the above (lascal / litaf / mutsy / bugaboo's own) fold up against the buggy in some way so I don't have to trip over them if DS1 decides to walk?

Still haven't bought a board - and stillo undecided, and due date is 2 weeks away!! Aargh!

Anyone else got any views/experience on this? ASnyone used the new bugaboo board yet?

Have decided against the litaf seat-to-go. So it's mutsy / buagaboo / lascal maxi. The bugaboo one just looks very very looong behind the buggy - like it's more likely I'll trip on it...
