Dis Haven't read the latest threads so not sure if anything has been resolved as yet. Spoke with DH (he's a PC) & he said really there's nothing the police can do. It's just classed as a breach of agreement & not really anything they can do. They may pay her a visit & have a word but not a great deal can be done beyond that.

You could obviously if you go through SCC if you wanted to, if you won then obviously LL would be liable for all costs plus the £90 so you could come out ok, but obviously it is a risk.

I know that's not a massive help, sorry.

Basl Still very much in love with my Elite that & the BJCM is all I have now. Had the use the BJCM yesterday & it feels so hard to push compared to the BJCE, the BJCE is such a dream though that anything compared to it will pale.

Morning folks.....I am back in the land of the living!!!

Nicola, photos were lovely thanks for the link. I asked my sis about trousers but nephew still in that size Next trousers sorry.

Carrielou is the SC still available?? Just need to get funds together now I'm back!

Does anyone know what Maclaren customer services are like? I emailed them last week but nothing... my XLR has 3 problems- Hood coming apart, handles cracking and the sticking on the liner has all split I've only had it 14 months

nicola as their no.1 customer you'll probs know the best, do you think they will ever email back or should I phone them? I feel like my XLR has started to fall aprt right in front of my eyes!

scattykatty · 07/08/2009 10:58

that should be 'stitching' of the liner

Maclaren · 07/08/2009 11:07

Scatty I would phone them if they havent responded after a week its likely they wont!

think this could end up a bargain for someone who can collect

basl · 07/08/2009 11:51

NORMA i did wonder that about the bjcm after using the elite. It is really lovley to push and suprisingly easy to use about shops. Just a shame it does not fit my front door. I am so surprised i have not heard anyone else mention they have the elite it is great. I have bought an orig buggy snuggle in black with large white bubbles a bargain for £25 bnwt. I think this will look great on the elite for the winter. Still can't decied if i really need the bjcm the bargain obaby is just the job but not very wide.

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 12:24

scatty i'd call them too, does yours have lifetime warranty on it?

just back from soft play its warm and muggy out but damp, yuck. luka refused shoes and raincover on way home i think he needs new shoes so need to have a cull here the boys have sooo many what on earth would i be like if i had girls lol!

Maclaren · 07/08/2009 12:42

Nicola are you still going to try for another baby next year maybe you will get the Girl! does your Dh not know chefs are meant to have girls!! lol

Where is everyone today dont tell me they have real lives

scattykatty · 07/08/2009 12:47

Ok, phoned them and they said they can't do anything cos it's cosmetic! How can it be cosmetic when the whole thing is crumbling

I wonder if Dis has her pushchair

maxybrown · 07/08/2009 12:51

so what does the lifetime guarantee include then??????

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 12:54

Maclaren im really undecided about no.4, we won't try until after our hols next year as it will be nice to go away with slightly older more independent children and no bump. But then next year Tate starts school and luka will be at nursery nearly every afternoon. i will have my life back more, do i really want a nother baby?? well i probably will but DH prob won't!! Why is that then about the chef thing? something to do with the heat i expect haha!! Alot of them are alcoholics so amazing to have babies at all!

Scatty tis true they won't cover fabrics unfortunately. not good is it? i've always found maclaren fabrics good tho? they stand up to all the washing i put them thru. i washed my black xt yesterday after luka had a huge icecream.

NormaSknockers · 07/08/2009 12:55

Basl The BJCM is still great & I'll keep it as my emergency stroller but it just feels soooo different to push now but that's just compared with the Elite. I wish I'd had the Elite from the off, I would go far as to say it's my most favourite pram ever

I have the offical BJ footmuff as well as a Snunkie, a Kasier & another Snunkie on order for it as well as about 4 liners & 4 comfort packs Now that I'm not buying & selling prams all the time I'm pimping to the max

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/08/2009 13:09

Hi all. Still waiting for XT delivery.
Jane didn't sell but am advertising locally in paper next week.
Got a few people asking for offers on it but with fees on ebay I am loath to reduce it.
It can live in the cupboard for a while longer.

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 13:18

hope xt comes soon, saw our DHL guy in high street about an hour ago, so maybe he's on way to t/wells!!

Maclaren · 07/08/2009 13:18

I've put an offer in on a Buzz 4 i fancy trying one of those!

Nicola i know what you mean but when I see a baby girl I WANT ONE lol doesnt help my brother and SIL are having one in October!

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 13:23

im not desperate for a girl tbh, after 3boys i'd sooner have another boy. it would be nice to buy the girly stuff but thats about as far as i go!! i'd worry about girls more...teenage years, imagine!!

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 13:26

whats an elite

link?

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 13:27

ps, have any of you tried the wee seat on the buzz 3 you know the baby seat storm padded one is it called? is it good? do you know?

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 13:29

not sure what you mean? the buzz now comes with two seats a smaller one then larger one for 12m plus i think? or is it just different fabrics? i never had a buzz the look big and heavy to me.

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 13:31

yes the smaller seat of that set I wanted to know if anyone had used one and if it was comfy as dd is teeeeeeeeeny and is sooooo lost in so many prams with sooo litte support.

she is 11m and only 17lbs

Maclaren · 07/08/2009 13:31

The small seat is memory foam the larger seat is canvas I had a Buzz 3 which was quite nice but i didnt like the way it pushed due to the three wheels thus trying the 4 lol

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 13:33

thanks its cos dd is soooo tiny the wee foam seat looked supportive x

Maclaren · 07/08/2009 13:33

It would be good for her then bless her

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 13:33

havent bought one just fancing one

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 13:35
