Light and compact travel systems - go!

Hi there advice needed please!!

I have hypermobility plus syndrome and pots syndrome. I am uk based and about to foster a child.

I therefore need a pushchair travel system (car seat/ frame/ bassinet?/pushchair seat) for 0-3 year olds that is very light, quick and easy to collapse and open. Ideally a rotating car seat as our friend reckons these are essential to getting the kid secured easily.

And we dont have much storage space so need to find one with convertible /multipurpose elements that can be used in a variety of ways.

Last but not least I'm looking for this in dark /choc brown.

Any ideas?

Baby jogger city mini gt. I’m not sure if they come in brown? But definitely worth a google.

Do you know what age of child you will have?

Most of the rotating car seats for up to about age 3 stay inside the car, the ones which are compatible with a pushchair are only up to ~12 months or so, which will be no good if you get a toddler. IMO the rotating base on these is a bit of a gimmick, especially as they tend to cost about £450 for the car seat + base.

If you're unlikely to get a tiny newborn, you may as well get a separate car seat which stays in the car and rotates - you can get a decent one for about £250 which will do from ~3-4 months up to about 4 years. You could then buy a pushchair-compatible, newborn friendly carry car seat to use temporarily if you did get a younger baby.

The rotating bit is the base of a car seat you have fitted in your car and the car seat clips on.
Not a lot of travel systems are light tbf
