hiya ! im flying with lufthansa next year with my partner and LO, however the lufthansa cabin sizes for pushchairs are insane.. 55L x 40W x 23H cm ?! other than the gb pockit all terrain (which i can't find ANYWHERE, pls lmk if you know where i can find one😭) is there any other strollers that'll fit these dimensions ?? has anyone had the same issue with lufthansa ?? thank you !

Officially no, none of the airlines let you take them on. Unofficially, Yoyos are often allowed on because they DO fit and all airport staff recognise them. I take ours with a protective cover handy and a baby carrier in case I get made to hand it over at the gate. Bigger airports seem to be more arsey than small airports. I've even tried buying over head baggage for it on Transavia, but it doesn't work if they insist on measuring it because it's 3(!)cm too wide. KLM advertise their over head limit is 30cm, but their measurement cages are actually 45 in the same dimension. I think it's in case you go on an Embraer, where you can only take a bowler hat and umbrella, old school.

sorry only just saw this !!

really ? on lufthansa's website it says you can bring a pushchair on as long as it's cabin approved! how strange !

Ultimately it depends on who is at the gate / plane. We fly regularly and maybe only 2-3 times been told it needs to go in the hold. Every other time, we take on board.

We have the Joolz Aer Plus right now which is a good pushchair. Felt more sturdy than other travel pushchairs we tried in John Lewis.

There are almost none on the market that small which means officially no. In reality, you'll probably get away with a yoyo or aer, so long as you don't get a jobsworth on the gate.

We’ve flown many times (but not on Lufthansa) with a Joolz Aer. We now have a Bugaboo Butterfly 2 though which I prefer.
