Cabin approved travel pram recommendations

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are heading on holiday to Spain in October with our two boys (our eldest will be 2 and youngest 6 months.) We’re looking for recommendations for travel prams that are cabin approved. We’re planning on buying two of the same pram so each boy has their own.

We went on holiday last year with our eldest and had a Silver Cross Clic but it’s on its last legs. I personally wouldn’t recommend it as I found it to be quite flimsy and not worth the price. I’m wondering if anyone else has any other recommended brand ideas that are cheaper?

Thank you.

I have never seen anyone bring a pram or pushchair in to the cabin.

thankfully

It will be taken away at the gate, surely?

Guessing you never fly then?

If you get two yo-yo's you can get a connector to attach them side by side and turn it into a double buggy. Added advantage that cabin crew tend to recognise the yo-yo and don't question it.

I have used the yoyo and I also now have the clic. The yoyo is sturdier by far and I would recommend it generally to anyone. I’m thinking of selling my clic to buy the yoyo again but it’s obviously quite a lot more money AND you need two of them. In your position I’d definitely look at the cost of hiring 2 x yo-yos and see if that works out reasonably in terms of price

The yoyo is fine, but I don’t think it’s the best! We use it daily now (storage at nursery) and it does what it’s supposed to and is definitely durable. However I’ve been told the joolz aer+ and the butterfly are better (lay flat for instance)

good thing about the yoyo for the baby is you can get car seat adapters so it just slots on. We did that til baby was 1.

The travel buggies aren’t great for 6 months, they aren’t dangerous, just not very cozy!

Absolutely love our Joolz Aer+, more than the Yoyo we had with our eldest. It’s an easier fold and I think it’s a bit smoother to push.

I really rate The Stroller Workshop’s YouTube channel. He works in stroller repair so he’s not trying to sell you anything, and it means he’s really good at looking at them at understanding what works and what doesn’t. He’s got reviews up of the new Bugaboo Butterfly2, Joolz Aer 2 and Ergobaby Metro 3 and Stokke Yoyo 3, but because he’s based in Norway he doesn’t get the British brands like iCandy

We were able to take the Silver Cross Clic on board last year no problem.
