Bugaboo donkey or Uppa Baby Vista 2 for double stroller?

I have a 2.5 year old & due with my second this month. Debating between getting the Bugaboo donkey or Uppa baby vista 2 as a double stroller. I know they are very different in terms of being stackable or width so hoping for some opinions ! For reference we live in a city without a car so mainly for walking etc Thanks!

i love my uppa baby vista. got it second hand off Facebook Marketplace for a 10th of the price and because it is so well made it's in great shape.
the only downside are that it fills our boot but that is not a problem for you.

The donkey is a pita, it does go through doors but it's massive and, and I got a puncture on the beach which wasn't fun.

Don't know what happened there...

I don't know the vista but highly recommend the BJCM twin, I went through a lot of buggies!

When we lived in the centre of town I got an out n about for my newborn and two year old. It was an absolute dream. I had an uppa baby already which I absolutely loved but I didn't like it as a double it was very heavy.

Bugaboo Donkey is fab, hate the one up, one down on the Vista

I have an Uppababy Vista. When my youngest was a few months old, 20 month gap, I got an Out n About double nipper. The Vista was so heavy with two in, even just toddler seat and bassinet. I couldn't hack using it as they both got heavier. The brilliant huge basket which is such a plus as a single is severely limited by the seats as a double. There's a reason you don't see that many Vistas being used as doubles, yet hundreds are out there being used as singles. I can't go out without seeing one in my baby-heavy town! The Out n About is fabulous, so easy to manoeuvre, so comfortable for the children, 25kg weight limit per seat. I've even perched on the front to feed. Fits on buses and through standard door ways. I wouldn't be buying a Vista at this point for you.

I have a vista and i don't recommend it as a double. Love it as a single but it's so cumbersome and the second seat only goes up to 15kg, so you have to have the baby in the front and the older child nearest you, when I'd prefer it the other way round. If you already have a vista, then I'd say live with it until your eldest can go on the buggy board - DD1 was 2y9m when DD2 was born. We used it as a double until DD2 outgrew the bassinet and since then we've just had it as a single + buggy board.

If you already have one, Out n About have a Vista trade in programme where you can get money off a new Nipper if you trade in a Vista.

If you are in a city, i also wouldn't get a Donkey as they are super wide. Have you looked at a mountain duet? It's the same width as a vista despite being a double so no issues with tight spaces eg on the bus.

Uppa baby. The 2.5 won't need the buggy all the time in a years time and you can get the under seat and then the step part

I had a similar age gap and the donkey has lived up to its name - it's an absolute workhorse! My toddler didn't actually go in the second seat for all that long (he stopped napping when the baby was six weeks old 🫠) but he seemed to find the bugaboo board with seat really comfortable. The side basket and big basket underneath are where it really came into it's own for me. It was so handy having loads of room for picnic stuff, changing bag, scooter for the park, suncream etc etc. It meant when I took them both out solo I didn't have to carry anything on me at all. I don't drive so walked everywhere with it, found it very reasonable to push. And when they were both still little, my toddler loved being next to the baby and peeking in. I don't know anything about the other pram you mentioned, but I also really liked the way I could keep my two parent facing - much better for language development and parental interaction. Happy to answer any specific questions you have if I'm able to!
