Hi all,
Trying to decide on a travel system I can use from birth

I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd, my older two children are a lot older and everythings changed so much!

Want something quite lightweight, easily foldable and not too bulky to fit in the boot. Obviously safe and comfy for the bean too.

This is my mum's treat to us, shes expecting to pay about £1000, however ideally don't want to put her out of pocket by that much!

I don't remember it being this difficult last time but that was 12 years ago 🤣

Please help x

We started out with a bugaboo dragonfly as it ticked all the boxes for us. It had a few problems and was taken back by Bugaboo. We now have fox cub which we used for the baby period and longer walks but couldn’t get on a London bus and I really struggled with it on the tube especially when no step free route. We then bought the Bugaboo Butterfly which we adore but not from birth or rear facing.

What will you be using it for mostly? How big is your house? Will it be always stored in the boot? Do you take it up stairs?

I just used the babyzen YOYO as my main buggy (with newborn attachment that I bought second hand) it folds up tiny and we travel a lot so it’s been so easy to take away.

we use the tube and overground & buses and don’t have a car so it works great for us as I can carry it up the steps with the baby in it as it’s so light.

when I used it for my toddler I just took her out and folded it up and was able to get up the stairs and carry it over my shoulder like a bag while still being able to hold her hand.

We had 2 extremes that I loved, a bugaboo bee which was amazing light, turned on a penny and could parent face, it also had a more “chair” like seat so they sat well in it not slumped when they were 2 plus. Then we had an out and about for long walks, countryside and to be honest everything, it was heavy but it was amazing - I wish I’d had one for my first
