Serious pram regret! Silver cross dream car seat into yoyo pram?

Currently pregnant with second baby and not looking forward to going back to bulky silvercross wayfarer. Would love to get a second hand yoyo, but really unsure whether silver cross dream car seat will fit adaptors. Website seems to indicate no, but lady in John Lewis got my hopes up and said yes!

Anyone know any clever hacks to get silver cross dream into yoyo? Is there some kind of universal adaptor that I don’t know about?

No, you won't get an adapter for that combo unfortunately.

You could look at the Silver Cross Jet5 - that takes adapters for the Silver Cross Dream.

This is the cheapest infant car seat I can currently find which will go on the Maxi Cosi type adapters that the Babyzen Yoyo has. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B091DZBMB4/

Maxi Cosi Cabriofix i-size and Joie i-Snug 2 seem to be at £86-ish in a few places too - you might be able to reduce that further with the various codes which are floating around for post-Christmas sales.

RECARO Avan Infant Car Seat, Black | Group 0 (0-13kg or 0-15 months), i-Size, Lightweight : Amazon.co.uk: Baby Products

Great prices on your favourite Baby brands plus free delivery and returns on eligible orders.

Thanks that’s actually a great shout!

Now just trying to figure out if you can get a buggy board on a jet 5?! American silver cross says no, but Lascal website says their buggy board would fit..more confusing research!

You can probably physically fit one on. But neither the Silver Cross nor the Babyzen is going to last very long with the strain of a buggy board on it. They place a huge strain on the chassis, and these are microfolds - how long do you think you'll need it for? It might be worth sticking with the bulkier older buggy while you need the buggy board and then switching to a new (or good condition Yoyo) once the older child doesn't need the board any more.

See this video from the 5:51 mark onwards - they are a pushchair repair company based in Norway and they are pretty heavily against buggy boards in general, but this is a more specific explanation of why they don't like them for microfold prams in particular:

Actually this is much more in depth - that turned out to be 10 seconds XD and actually refers to the Yoyo.

A buggy board won’t fit on properly on the yo-yo

but we only use the yoyo (instead of a bulky icandy) for our second

I recommend the cybex eezy s twist + 2. It's the only hand luggage size that does parent facing and world facing, uses normal car seat adapters, and actually has suspension and bigger back wheels. You can also get a proper sized bassinet for it. I never feel super comfortable with tiny newborn babies in the babyzen as it has no suspension. It doesn't have a buggy board but my toddler just stands on the chassis which works really well when the seat is parent facing. It's really not common in the uk but in France and scandinavia you see absolutely loads of them
