Losing the will to live!

I’m genuinely losing the will to live trying to find a stroller/buggy system.

FTM due in 3 months, originally from the U.K. now living in Switzerland.

I’m looking for a pram solution that is both lightweight and can handle rough terrain (ie cobbled streets, grass, gravel paths) but it feels like I’m searching for a unicorn.

The most popular models in shops here are the ones I’ve tried but ruled out because when folded I really struggle to lift it.

Cybex Talos S Lux & Balios S Lux
Nuna Mixx
Joie Finiti

If I can’t lift it in and out of the car without having to have my husband around I’ll just end up not wanting to leave the house in order to avoid the whole ordeal!

Any lighter models I’ve tried just don’t seem to be robust enough to handle rough terrain.

Does anyone have any suggestions if makes/models I should try looking at?

thankyou.

Just to add - I wanted to get something that would suffice from newborn to toddler, so something I can have a bassinet and car seat on for newborn, then pushchair bit for toddler.

Out N About. I had the double and loved it, no problems getting it folded down and in and out of the car so I'm sure you'd be fine with the single. Pricey though, so get second hand if you can.

10 years ago when due DC1 we bought a Baby Jogger City Mini GT. Still going strong (on DC3 aged 3), never regretted it, never bought another pushchair. Not sure if they're as popular now as they were then - would this fit your requirements?

I’d definitely look at Baby Jogger City Mini as well, also Bugaboo Fox.

We’ve got an Out n About single and although I love it, I find it a bit of a pig to lift in/out the car.

Unfortunately it is going to be tough to find a pushchair that can cope with all terrains whilst also being lightweight. I have the Bumbleride Era which is a compact size and is amazing to push. It handles any terrain so easily and the quality is amazing. I think the Indie model is lighter at around 10kgs but it is a 3 wheel pushchair.

Babyjogger city mini gt isnt too heavy I don't think but lasts the child ages.

I have a babyjogger summit. You can put a bassinet on it although its not particularly elegant. It's not too heavy and has been on a number of Lake District hill walks.

Would recommend running buggies generally if you live rurally, they're usually pretty robust and designed to be fairly light.

We live in similar area nearby. We have the mountain swift. Its 9kg. used with carrycot, and main seat still fits 3 year old now. its been fine in woodland, and across snow. you can get the urban or terrain if you wanted bigger

You can probably try the thule brand easily where you are also.
