Babyzen Yoyo - Bugaboo Cameleon - one in between?

We have a Bugaboo Cameleon 3 and a 2nd hand Babyzen Yoyo from DS5. Loved both - however now that our DD is 8m we need to decide what to do.

-Cameleon is too big to fit in car now we have two DC (with shopping, bikes etc), so planning to sell this.
-Babyzen is looking pretty worse for wear as it was already pretty ancient when I bought it and has some strap issues - so if sticking with Babyzen I want to upgrade it. I love how tiny it folds up, and that it can go on a plane.

We are moving back to a city soon, so whatever I go with will be our primary pushchair for the next few years. Do I stick with Babyzen Yoyo, which is fab, or is there a kind of 'in between' model, which is a bit more comfy/sturdy/smooth which still folds down tiny? I haven't researched much yet - but should I look at Bugaboo Bee? Butterfly?

Basically - will I regret making a travel stroller our primary stroller?! Or do I get a good midsize one and keep the old beaten up Babyzen for overseas trips?

Just get a new babyzen. Everything else will be more rickety or big in boot.

Stick with the YoYo. We have it as our main pram and so do most people around here. Unless you need a double it’s actually quite unusual to see any other type of pram and if you park up at the playground you have to double check to make sure you’re heading home with the right one!

The butterfly is great. It would be a replacement for the Yoyo rather than something in between.

Haha that’s really funny! Okay good to know so many have it as their main pram - they are less common where I live. Thank you!

I've heard people like the Joolz aer a lot, most stable than the bugaboo butterfly I think? Might be worth a look

According to The Stroller Workshop (on youtube) the Yoyo is the only microfold worth having. If you've had one already, you'll be disappointed with anything else. I'd get a Yoyo2.

I wouldn't get a Butterfly. I've got one and I'm on my fourth replacement.

I'd go for a new YoYo, but bear in mind that most of the airlines are moving towards even cabin-sized buggies having to go in the hold. It's been a fight with BA to get my Butterfly on board three times now, but they've got an exception for the YoYo at the moment. Who knows how long that will last...

Yes when we have flown with Yo-yo it’s been accepted onboard as hand luggage ( with us having pre booked and paid extra for priority still). Where as others with bugaboo butterfly or other brands have been turned away.

The main thing is the depth measurement folded. Ryanair for example have max 20cm for handluggage. The Yo-yo is 18cm so goes on. Almost all other brands are bigger than 20cm, so don’t comply. The butterfly is 23cm for example

Last time I was in Paris pretty much every other baby was in a YoYo as they work well for cities where most people live in apartment buildings.
I currently have a Mountain Buggy Swift - you wouldn't get away with it for hand luggage, but it's very small, light and compact. Only issue is the handlebar is quite low, so probs better if you're short like me!
