Lightweight, parent facing and affordable?

Hi everyone,

I am a recent single mum who lives in a block of flats with no lift. My baby is currently still in her travel systems car seat but will quickly outgrow (I have picked a car seat already). I am looking for a parent facing (which can switch to front facing), light weight (need to carry baby and stroller down stairs) and an affordable pushchair, does it exist?

I’ve seen the eezy S twist which I love the look of but was looking for something less than £200

please help!
Thank you xxx

A reversible seat is hard to do small and light, I think the eezys are the smallest except the bugaboo ant which is a flimsy stupid pram. I loved my bugaboo bee, bigger than an eezy but I think more robust.

Definitely look at second hand ones, the latest bee is around £360 used so the older bee 5 is waaaay less.

There's a joie in Argos for £150 and it does both parent and forward facing.

You should check gumtree and FB market place, even FB preloved baby groups.
Assuming you don't mind second hand stuff. People only use prams/pushchairs for such a short time and then sell low to get rid quickly. You get some really good bargains.

Other than that, I would recommend smyths, decent bargains, plus they have them all set up in store so you can have a go

If you don't already have one, a good soft structured carrier (eg ergobaby or Tula) for going up and down the stairs.

Get a second hand pushchair, you'll get a better one for your money. Preferably a Babyzen Yoyo if you can find one in budget.

How old is your baby, do you really need parent facing? Your options will be much bigger if just forward facing. My eldest was forward facing sometimes from 9 months and always by 12 months and we put youngest forward facing from 12 months too. But it wasn't really necessary to keep them parent facing even that long, I've known people who had from birth pushchairs that only forward faced and their babies were fine of course and they never had any issues with that. Just something to consider.

It is mainly for me as we recently had a choking incident and I’ve been very paranoid and need eyes on her at all times ever since bur she’s just turned 9 months! Thank you for your advice

Have you looked on Vinted for Eezy Twist? I was considering it for a bit and I've definitely seen several come up under 200
