Hi I'm needing to get a new stroller. Have been looking at the joie nitro it's says its suitable up to 15 kg. My LG is big for her age and nearly 15 kg she is 2 and half. Has anyone used it with a heavy toddler? Thanks x

We had one and DS was always tall and heavy, it was fine for us but he did walk a lot so it wasn’t being hammered twice a day on the school run for example. Probably used 3-4 times a week for a short blast round the park. I think they’re pretty sturdy but if you’ll be using it daily I might go for something a bit higher spec. The raincover is shite. Also check it fits in your boot, the handles stick up quite a lot and it wouldn’t lie flat in our Ford Focus which used to drive me mad

Thanks for replying @Flangeosaurus I don't use the pram too often so will maybe be ok don't want to be spending too much as hopefully won't be in it too much longer. I have a big boot so should be ok. I have the ickle bubba discovery max as the last 2 years and as she is getting bigger and heavier it so hard to move its a nightmare xx

Look at the baby jogger gt. It folds compact in half, and has a higher weigh limit of 22kg, so you can use longer if needed ( even if that’s just when they aren’t feeling well).
I have seen it for £199 new, but your best bet is buying secondhand from marketplace. I have seen friends put 6 year old in one at airport when they fell asleep and still has space
