Travel System Recommendations

I have had a look through past threads etc. but does anyone have a travel system (so including car seat) that they love. And why?

I don't want to buy new so looking at Stokke Xplory, Bugaboo Cameleon or iCandy secondhand.

Alternatively google keeps popping up with iVogue or iSafe for under £200 (not including isofix base) from somewhere called baby-travel.store which I can't decide if it feels too cheap to be true.

Thanks for any advice.

My UppaBabyVista system lasted 3 children and would recommend to anyone, they are really hardy and feel lovely to push. We are a tall family and struggled to find something that didn't have us hunching over, this was perfect and really great if you walk everywhere as well.

Can’t go wrong with a Bugaboo. Can replace so many parts quite easily should you need to.

I'd avoid the cheap-but-new and definitely go secondhand premium. I don't have experience with the Chameleon but I definitely recommend Bugaboo, they're a dream to push, well made (come new with a 4yr warranty which tells you something) and as previous poster said you can replace parts of their prams very easily. If you go Bugaboo, join a Bugaboo Facebook group so you can see pricing advice to avoid overpaying.

Another bugaboo fan here. I got the fox and I absolutely love it. Used it every day since my toddler was born and I've briefly used others for various reasons and nothing compares for me. It's a dream

The iSafe etc ones are bloody awful, don't touch it.

You're better off going for a second hand good model than a cheap new model, unless you can stretch a bit more to the £4-500 mark as then you start getting decent models (still unfortunately a lot of crap in this price bracket).

Look at The Stroller Workshop on youtube for tips. I really like the cheaper Maxi Cosi and Cybex and Joie travel systems if you want cheaper-but-new. We got a second hand Mutsy Evo and it's OK but it didn't tick as many boxes as my older Maxi Cosi one.
