Twin pram recommendations

Hey, I'm expecting twins and I was wondering what was the best double pram to purchase? I recently looked at the Uppababy vista and really liked it but it's such a big purchase I don't want to dive in straight away.

For twins I'd really consider a side by side stroller rather than a tandem. Tandem strollers are good at getting through a pinch point of when you have a baby and an older child who both need a double for a few months, but there are trade-offs. In a front loading tandem (like the Vista) the extra weight at the front makes it much more unwieldy to tip and steer due to the way the weight is distributed. For a rear loading tandem (something like the Nuna Demigrow) the handling is better as the centre of gravity from the extra seat is lower, but you lose the shopping basket. And in both tandem models, one child will be less accessible than the other. The Mountain Buggy Duet is one of the narrowest double strollers, if width is your concern. The Bugaboo Donkey is also great (though very expensive).

I've got a bugaboo donkey 5! It is expensive but! It is really great to manoeuvre and side by side they have fit through most doors, even smallish door frames! They've been built to be just a little bigger then the average pram! And you can take the carrycots off and put them straight from the car seat to the pram with and adaptor! So we've been using the carry cots in place of Moses baskets as they havnt settled in their cotbed yet! So saved money buying a Moses basket aswell! Hope this has helped, and congratulations 😊
