Best all terrain travel system

Hello everyone, we are expecting our first baby in February and are starting to look into the vast world of prams!
We are ideally looking for an all terrain travel system that can be used on slightly rougher grounds (nothing too extreme) Parks, woodland walks, dirt tracks etc.
We have looked at the Mountain buggy urban jungle and the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 but can't seem to find a middle ground. We loved the mountain buggy but feel it might be a bit overkill and considering you can get the Icklebubba system for under half the price it seems a no brainer...
Any advice, recommendations or reviews appreciated

I'm having similar dilemmas! First baby also due in Feb :) Have you considered the Uppababy vista/cruz? I am currently torn between the Vista and the urban jungle...

Check out the Uppababy Vista.

Oh congratulations 🥰 I hope your pregnancy is going well so far! There is just so much choice yet somehow not enough 😅 I haven't looked at the Uppababy yet so will have to do some more exploring!

Haha yes I know exactly what you mean! Hope your pregnancy is going well too :) I keep switching between excited and nervous!

I love the Uppababy Vista too 🙂

Mountain buggy is such a good investment- ours is still going strong 5 1/2 years on with daily use, travel to multiple countries and used for running too.
Bonus is that we still put the 5yo in it on the odd occasion (late night fireworks etc)
Definitely thought twice when we paid up for it but have never regretted it!

We liked the uppababy vista and the oyster3 (do a lot of walking), went with the oyster3 just because you can fold it down with the seat on etc. suspensions is good and big wheels.

If you're getting one that will get mucky might be worth going second hand. Means you're less worried about getting a bit of dirt on it and actually using it to it's potential! They're also a lot cheaper.

I think gold standard is thule chariot but they're pretty bulky. I liked the look of the out about and the mountain buggy ones. Really anything with big wheels and a low centre of gravity will work.

You could also consider getting a second hand pram (from a reputable shop ideally but you could try ebay ect if not)?

We got a second hand buggaboo Fox from a lovely pram shop. They had cleaned and serviced it. We just got a new mattress for the carry cot. It was cheaper than a less well made but new pram and has been amazing.
