I'm looking for an easy to manauvre travel system that can fold easily, bassinet suitable for overnight sleep. Must be easy to use on trains & buses & fit into a small boot. There's so much out there. I'm leaning towards Bugaboo. Any help welcome Thanks

If possible, I would visit your local John Lewis or Mamas and Papas and get a practical demo of several different models, and you will be able to see which one suits you best.
Some bugaboos can't be folded with a bassinet on so that's something to be aware of, particularly if you're going to be going up and down stairs and on public transport. BabyZen yo-yo might be one to look into?

I recently visited Boston in the US and I saw the Bugaboo Bee strollers everywhere!! If you want Bugaboo I would definitely go with that option, and I think they also look quite nice. I also saw a lot of the Yo-yo Zen strollers, as well as the Doona strollers, however Doona is suitable for younger babies.

I keep seeing an advert for the didofy aster. The actual pushchair is more suitable for 6 months plus I think. But it had the option of adding a really nice carrycot and also you can add adapters for a carseat. It folds flat enough to take on as carry on luggage too. I bought the Joie I-level which can lay flat so can be used out and about on top of pram wheels without having to take them out of chair if they're asleep. I wish I had bought something like this when I had my first baby because we bought a travel system from Jane which is good but baby wouldn't go in carrycot so that barely got used and ended up buying a second carseat (the lay flat one) as didn't really like the one the system came with and then had to buy a buggy for now 20 month old, same as you wanted something compact. We also have another baby now so we also have a double but most of the time baby is in the sling. We've spent so much money on stuff, wish I had just bought a compact buggy like this which you could get add on bits for, it would have saved us alot of time and space.

I had an Egg travel system for when mine were small. It's very narrow and fits on buses perfectly (I don't drive so this was definitely one of my requirements), carrycot suitable for over night system and folds fits into a small car (fitted fine in my dad's Skoda Fabia)

I don’t think you should use a carry cot for overnight sleep - the mattresses are usually very thin and flimsy, and the sides are completely solid, not like a crib/cot.
Even if they say you “can” I’m not sure you will want to.

Check the width of the aisles of the buses you use. Some Bugaboos really don't fit well (next to no clearance)

If you use public transport a lot then you might want a narrower pushchair specifically for (for comparison, the top of the range lie-flat umbrella-fold Maclaren is the same width as smaller Bugaboos)
