I'm looking for a particular pram

I'm looking for a pram (if it exists) with

  • a carrycot/basinet (I don't want the seat or carseat)
  • comfortable materials, so not a scratchy or otherwise uncomfortable kind with a thin mattress
  • which can be taken apart and washed in the machine (so not wipe down)
  • the pram needs to look nice and cosy
  • something that folds small as I'll be taking it on trains and buses
  • also suitable for use in woodlands/beaches etc
  • very good suspension
  • tyres that don't need replacing often

looked at the bugaboo bee 5 and 6 they look well made but I'm not sure about the wheels, will they manage? The thing is it's on the expensive side so obviously want to get the right one. not interested in second hand ones as I've checked and they will be worn and without a warantee.

Hmm it’s the sturdy carrycot/bassinet (presumably for a 0-6m old?) combined with the lightweight folding part for public transport that is incompatible.

Carrycots with proper bases and mattresses just aren’t foldable. You almost always have to remove the top part in order to fold it. The compromise would be a folding stroller that is suitable for use from newborn. Babyzen Yoyo? The size difference between a newborn and 6m old is pretty large so newborns often look bit adrift in them rather than cosy IMO.

As for the tyres, I’m not really sure it matters about them wearing out as your baby is going to outgrow this pram in around 6m anyway if you don’t want the seat part.

Lastly, the suitable for woodland/beaches with suspension AND urban environments is also asking quite a lot! You can take any pram on public transport but you can only take rugged ones to the beach so you could prioritise that. It still gets a bit wobbly though so not sure I’d do it with a baby under 3m.

Baby jogger GT, will go on any terrain, very easy one hand fold. Doesn't have a parent facing seat but don't see that in your list. Will last til you no longer need a pram

Sorry I missed that you don't want time seat at all, read it as car seat. Maybe no good after all

Urban versus all terrain are 2 very different abs conflicting requirements.
