Uppababy vista v2 recommendations?

I really don't think I'm going to be able to see prams in a shop at this rate so has anyone had one of these? I wanted the nuna originally but now I think the fold is too bulky so we've come across this one. It's pricey but I can get the pushchair with seat and carrycot for £787. Is it worth the money?

A friend of mine has one of the 2015+ models - had it a couple of years and they absolutely love it. Folds well for the size and really lasts. The fact the wheel can be removed in seconds meant it fit in their car easily. Absolutely smooth to push and the basket on it makes it ideal for days out. They’ll be using it with child number 2. Part of the reason they got it was they’re quite different in height and the adjustable handle went low and high enough for both of them too.
The V2 has minor adjustments making it that bit better (the harness adjustment and the size of the seat being better). If you can get it for that price, more than worth it! Where have you seen that incredible deal?

@Smithitchi that's amazing thanks for all that! I think you've sold me on it. We are wanting to have 2 kids quite close together so I like that it will last, and my husband is 6ft2 so definitely want one that suits him too.

The price is a bit of an odd one. They don't seem to be discounted anywhere but I saw it on the very website, and if I take out a credit account with them I can get 20% off my first order, which brings the pram down to that price. I will then pay it off straight away so I don't get charged interest. I'll do anything for a bargain! 😂😂

Oh, that’s a great way to do it! Definitely take advantage of a saving there!
The only maybe slight drawback with the vista vs something like the icandy peach is that the carrycot can only go at the bottom in double configuration. However, babies usually fall asleep in the carrycot whereas the older one is constantly wanting attention/snacks, so maybe it’s easier to have the older one closer! It wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me given the massive basket, the better handling on rougher terrain and the height adjustment. Plus, it looks great!

Thanks I think were sold on it! I dont mind the carrycot being at the bottom too much, pretty sure by then the older one will be demanding my attention! It sounds ideal, especially as we're big walkers so I like the rougher terrain aspect. Thanks!

We have the previous version and it's been absolutely brilliant.

We have the 2017 version and it's been brilliant. So sturdy, easy to steer one handed. DH and I are both tall so it's perfect. Basket at the bottom is massive. I know loads of people who got Bugaboo/Joolz etc and traded them in for Uppababy. Haven't tried it with more than one child though.

I have the 2015 version and it's great, used it for baby 1 and now for baby 2. Everyone is always jealous of the buggy space at the bottom - you can fit at least 2 big boxes or wine no problem Wink. It also fits with the maxi cosi car seat which was super useful. I also got the buggy board for my eldest which has also been great. I don't think you’ll regret it.

I have an uppababy vista and love it. I have a 23 month age gap between my kids (youngest is now 5 months) so we bought the rumble seat so they can both fit on there. I’d recommend it for an age gap less than 3 years as it’s so handy to be able to put the toddler in the seat if they are tired or misbehaving on our walks!

Drawbacks are that you’ll need a good boot on your car especially if you have a rumble seat as well. I have a Hyundai Tucson and it fills the boot. Also with both seats on it’s quite difficult to push on bumpy terrain but on roads it’s absolutely fine.

And I second what @Aria2015 has said about the basket underneath, it’s a source of envy amongst friends that I have so much space! I went clothes shopping with my mum and aunties once and pretty much 4 peoples shopping was getting stowed away under there 🤣

A little push chair help please!

I'm torn between the uppababy vista v2 vs icandy orange as a double pram - I'm due with my first soon but really hoping to have another not long after and trying to think ahead in terms of investing in a good pushchair that can be turned into a double later on. I've watched some reviews and seen that maybe the icandy isn't roomy enough for the kids when used as a double, the vista looks a bit better in terms of spacing between the seats and maybe slightly better compact fold.

The only thing is I absolutely LOVE how the icandy looks.
Considering they are both pricey I would like to make the right decision based on functionality.

Has anyone used any of these 2 as a double?

Thanks in advance!
