Pushchair for 6m+ with option to add carrycot if I have second child later

A friend loaned me her pram when I first had my baby, who is now 6 months old. She now needs it back and I need to purchase a new pushchair. From what I've learned in the past 6 months is that I want something that has a really simple fold (one handed if poss), lightweight (I'm 5'2) but built well, wheels that can deal with a bit more than just pavement (Babyzen Yoyo and Bugaboo Ant wheels seem a bit tooo small), and parent and world facing. And has the option to have a carrycot added down the line - if we decide to have baby number 2.

I have looked and looked and looked. The one that I think ticks all those boxes (kind of) is the Mamas and Papas Flip X2 or X3. But it looks like people have issue with the underneath shopping bag dragging on the floor, which isn't massively appealing. A lot of the second hand ones have peeling handlebars too which makes me wonder how well made they are. And it's also 11kg, which to me isn't really lightweight - even though it's marketed as that.

The pram we have to give back to my friend is the Citi Mini GT - which is great for the one fold open, but it's not parent facing and I also find the 3 wheel thing a bit wobbly, especially when getting off buses and trains.

Your thoughts and experiences much appreciated! Thank you :)

You can lock the front wheel. It's an amazing pushchair and I am so glad I spent hours researching it before I bought one nearly 12 years ago! I agree about the parent facing. But I bought a hard carrycot for my second DC who was very prem.

I had people asking me about it in the street when they saw me fold it or on the beach when I was managing to get it across the sand.

And the bonus is it is big enough to last way past toddler years. 4 year gap between my two and even when youngest was 3.5, the older one would pinch a seat in it when we went on days out!

Sorry. I saw so many friends but pram after pushchair again and again. I know I get carried away, but it was/is a great pushchair and at the time was very reasonably priced (£130 I think).
