Puschair dilema... 3mo and 21 mo

I have a 3 mo and a 21m/o however he is not a good walker having only recently started (!!) We live in London with very very limited space inside and a lift/heavy firedoor combo to navigate whilst exiting our block (we are currently looking for a house). I have the following prams with the following problems-

Bugaboo cam & wheelboard. (Bought new so need to keep) DS is just a little bit too small to use the board reliably (the one with seat) and I've still got it in carrycot mode. I can use a carrier but it's not my preference really.

Lightweight stroller - too flimsy to push with Dd (baby) strapped to me

Mountain buggy duet (Bought 2nd hand so can easily sell) too heavy to lift in and out the car, take a up loads of space in flat. Otherwise fine.

If I swap the MB for a tandem pushchair will that help? Is the lower baby in am icandy as low as the one in a Phil and Ted's? Shall I just power through til we have a house and DS is a better walker,?

I love how light the cam is and find e.g. the silver cross wave too heavy to push. The icandy peach looks good but also heavy.

As im in London I don't like the idea of one baby being low down by the buses exhaust fumes etc which is why I bought the duet.

Also when I go on trains will a tandem buggy be too front heavy to lift on without help?

Please help!!!!!

For tandem, maybe a phil and teds dot? Compact for buses, narrow, can fit both in when you need to get somewhere speedy. easy to convert to single if just out with one.

Thanks Caspian, does it fold small? That's the issue atm and I'm not sure if it's because I'm used to by bugaboo which can be broken into 2 pieces for easy storage!

Well its narrower and more compact than the mountain buggy duet. You could leave up in flat easier as a tandem.

Otherwise, if its folding thats key then what about swapping the mountain buggy duet, for the mountain buggy nano duo?
