Bus friendly stroller that isn't a maclaren

I need something compact that fits on London buses easily like a maclaren but where the child's feet are further from the floor

When my child falls asleep in the maclaren his feet fall off the footrest and drag on the floor. Stopping to put them back on the footrest every 5 metres isn't working well for me

Any suggestions?

Hauck speed

I have the bugaboo bee 5 and I've never had this problem. DS is 2 and his feet are still a good way from the floor, he's average height.
The bee 5 is great on the bus as it fits behind the pole that few other buggies can.

Baby jogger city mini, if your budget allows. Not as compact as a Mclauren but a one handed fold which makes it great for public transport.

Thanks.

Second the Baby Jogger City Mini. It folds up easily. My (tall) children still fit in it as 5 year olds.

Thanks, I don't fold on the bus but it needs to be narrow in order to squeeze on

I also have a Bugaboo Bee and it is pretty easy to manoeuvre on the bus, even the ones with a weird unhelpful pole right in the way.

I have a Mamas and Papas Armadillo Flip and it fits down the aisle of the bus. I also have a Maclaren and the Mamas and Papas definitely sits up higher.

A GB Qbit. We have the all terrain extra sturdy version. It's so compact and light. I managed down 3 flights of marble stairs on holiday carrying it folded up in one hand and 14 month old in the other. I'm always surprised they aren't more popular as I love ours.

Thanks I tried the GB Pockit yesterday and the height is good but it feels v flimsy

Mothercare ride, take up the space of one folding seat on bus so very compact. My toddler sits very high up in it so feet dragging is not an issue

The GB QBIT is a lot more sturdily built than the Pockit (whose only aim really is to be very small and light when folded).

I'm pleased with our QBit+ too and I think the seat is a little higher than the Maclaren.

Be aware that the basic QBit (without the +) doesn't recline.
