Double buggy or just a buggy board?

I'm only currently 11 weeks pregnant but when baby is born in March DS will be two and a half. We don't have a car so pretty much walk everywhere, would you get a double buggy suitable for newborn and toddler in case he falls asleep on long days out etc. or should I just get a buggy board for him if we're going far and he gets tired of walking? I know it's hard to tell what he's going to be like with walking by then but just dread having a tired whinging toddler hanging on me while trying to push a newborn in a buggy

Double buggy. We paid £80 for a Phil and Teds off everything bay and it was invaluable, although I had a smaller age gap. Not driving makes a big difference -I don't drive either.

I'd look for a second-hand one then move to a buggy board when you're ready. It's not just the children you need to balance its stuff.

There are 2 years between mine, we walk a lot too. I got a second hand Phil and Ted's for £60 off gumtree, haven't used it much yet (youngest is 5m) we've been all about the sling for the baby and the 2 year old walks or goes in stroller. I will probably use the double more once the baby gets too heavy to carry so much. But I'd definitely recommend trying a sling!

There will be a 26 month gap between my two once this baby is born. I will be getting a double pushchair, my current pushchair can convey into a tandem so will be getting the adaptors. I dont drive either so sometimes am out all day walking with my dd so feel she still needs a pushchair

My son will be just 2y4m when DC2 arrives next month and I've bought a double buggy secondhand. DS is not cooperative when he's tired / hungry so being able to strap him in and go is important when we are out and about. I initially thought a buggy board would be fine but DS is still little really and I think he'd struggle on long days out without being able to sit/nap in a buggy.

What age will the older sibling grow out of a Phil&Teds? Does it have a bassinet attachment?
