Bugaboo Bee? The handles are adjustable and go quite far down.

TheMonaOgg · 25/05/2019 17:07

I was going suggest the Bee as well. Family members of all heights can and have pushed ours as it's so adjustable.

Creatureofthenight · 25/05/2019 17:11

Ooh good thread, I’m 5ft and need a new pushchair.
Any suggestions that don’t cost more than a month’s mortgage payment? Grin

justforthisnow · 25/05/2019 17:12

Bugaboo Bee also

Lottiebugz22 · 25/05/2019 17:14

Looks perfect but toi expensive for me unfortunately

For a stroller, the Silver Cross Zest has quite low handles. I'm 5ft 2 and push it fine, as does my Mum who's 5ft.

KnittingForMittens · 25/05/2019 17:31

I'm just under 5ft and never had any problems using strollers? Is it because the handles are slightly too high?

PotolBabu · 25/05/2019 17:33

Ah yes I am 5ft and I have had the Bee for seven years now. The MacLaren handles are not at a good height for me. Have you tried the Uppababy?

Lottiebugz22 · 25/05/2019 17:38

Yeah the handles are high for me I find it difficult going up curbs etc

I got mine 2nd hand on a selling site and then sold it on after for nearly the same price. They are excellent quality and I'd buy again second hand if needed (it wont be 😊).
Ive had 5 buggies and this was the only one I could lift easily and could push easily.

ChariotsofFish · 25/05/2019 18:08

Yeah, get a second hand bee. They’re really well made, they last brilliantly.

Lottiebugz22 · 26/05/2019 10:32

I'm looking but they are still too expensive second hand I'll spend 100 at the most Grin

OMG when I first read the title of your post I thought ‘wow wait that can’t be the size of the baby’! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️. I’m obviously not fully with it today!

LIVIA999 · 26/05/2019 10:39

@Pipandmum me too!

Lottiebugz22 · 26/05/2019 11:02

Lol! I can see how the title of the post looks that the child might be 4ft11 actually! Grin

ineedaholidaynow · 26/05/2019 11:04

I read it wrong too!

CrazyCatLady159 · 26/05/2019 11:15

Have you looked at the mamas & papas urbo? Think they've made the urbo 2 now as well

I had this and it was amazing - handles went down really small too

Sold mine for £50 on eBay after so you may be able to pick one up cheap Smile

Lottiebugz22 · 26/05/2019 13:25

Yeah that's lovely that one

KinderKraft Moov Travel System (Grey) www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01ELDCSHY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_K-Y6CbFW62TD1?tag=mumsnetforu03-21
This pram, I'm sure it has a Groupon offer at the moment, my BFF is 4'10 and loves hers, it's not too expensive but she walks everywhere and she finds it okay on rough ground. Hope it helps 😊 her hubby is 5'9 and it fits him fine too.

Lottiebugz22 · 27/05/2019 07:54

Ive got the kinder kraft moov grey lol I want something more compact now x

hazeyjane · 27/05/2019 08:01

I'm 4'11" and have never had a problem - have had a mountain buggy, Phil and Teds, a nipper 360, a citisport, a maclarens, a massive Tom Cross stroller and a Duo Buggy (last 2 special needs buggies). Only problem seems to be having too many buggies!!

Lottiebugz22 · 27/05/2019 08:15

I think I am looking at too many telescopic handle ones. I'll
probably be better with the hook handles.
