A decent, parent-facing, foldable, reasonably-priced pushchair. Does such a thing exist??

I have searched the internet, and there doesn't seem to be any different products to those that were around 5 years ago when I had DS1. Perhaps I am using the wrong search terms.

I would like a pushchair that costs no more than £150, which can be folded whilst in parent-facing mode.

The only one that seems to match my criteria is the Joie Mirrus, but I have read that it is difficult to manoeuvre in parent-facing mode, and if you're tall you end up kicking the wheels.

Any advice / recommendations please?

I am fed up of having to take the seat out of my travel system before folding into the boot or hallway!

Thank you.

Argos do some that the handle flips over so you can do both rear and forward facing.

Thanks Bookmum but I think that's the Joie Mirrus...

I appreciate its more than you wanted but this works for us and is the closest I've seen.

Thanks cupoftea, does it fold when the seat is in parent-facing position?

If new, then this is £70 over your budget, although does come with a few extra accessories! Baby Jogger has a good reputation as a brand. www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-Jogger-Stroller-Accessory-Bundle/dp/B074WF1S4J?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

If you're open to secondhand, I'm sure you'll find quite a few if you look on facebook marketplace, gumtree, shpock, ebay etc. x

Ok so way more expensive but the bugaboo bee ticks the other boxes. You could get a second hand one for £150?

I haven't had a push chair for years, but I think they are all difficult to handle in parent facing mode because of the weight distribution in relation to the handle. The weight from the child's head is always in opposition to the handle. The other way round, the head weight is with the structure of the handle and is barely noticeable.

I had a twin pushchair similar to the Joie mentioned above with swivel wheels and it was ok whilst they were small but much better facing away when they got bigger.

I also had a Silver Cross with fixed wheels which is very robust. I used it for a couple of months parent facing, then turned it round asap.

Yes the cybex folds up whichever way on you have the seat. It's easy to switch between forward and rear facing as well. We have a baby jogger as well (husband prefers it) but it's only forward facing. I also don't like it's basket (babyjogger) , didn't even think to check how easy it is to get a rucksack in the basket. Rucksack fits in cybex basket fine.
