Icandy raspberry - issues with car seat adaptors

Hello! We live in a very tiny first floor flat in london and are expecting our first child. We need a compact pushchair. We looked at babyyo yo+ but aren’t sure about using it as a permanent pram from new born so are looking at the icandy raspberry.

The assistant in mothercare said they have had customers who have struggled getting the car seat off the adaptors. When we tried it was very hard too (you need to push down on the pram and use a lot of force and wiggling to lift). Is this a known problem? I can’t find any complaints when googling so wonder if people have found a way round this.

Are their any other compact pushchairs suitable from newborn you would recommend?

Hi, I also live in a first floor flat and posted not that long ago about pushchairs. Sorry I have no experience of icandy raspberry. For us our car seat will stay in the car, would that be an option for you as to not need to worry about clipping/unclipping? They are only meant to be in there for 2 hours max anyway, ideally less as its better for newborns to be lying flat. There are stages car seats that go from newborn to a few years old or even beyond. I'm liking the look of Joie Every stage which goes from newborn to 12.

The bugaboo bee was recommended to me a few times, but was out of our budget and couldn't find any secondhand locally. I've opted for a silver cross secondhand, the seat unit reclines completely flat, but also has a newborn cocoon thing, so I won't need to store a store a carrycot once outgrown which was important to me as we are also short on space! I did quite like the look of the baby jogger vue, its an umbrella fold stroller but can be parent or world facing. With a soft carrycot too for newborn. Its £229.99 on amazon with a few accessories too. I was still considering this, but when the silver cross popped up locally and for a very good price I ended up impulse buying that.
