Hiya, me and my partner are new to this. We're expecting our first child and are just looking for some pram recommendations. We're so new to this and really need some help. I've seen pram/pushchair combis, so many different types. We have a small suzuki alto so looking for something that would fit in a fairly small boot/or in one back seat as the other will occupied by little one. With so many different types, I just don't know where to start! Thanks everyone

We have a bugaboo bee, I've seen one in the back of a fiat 500 and I've put ours in a Ford Focus and another small car that I can't remember.

We got it because it's small and light but sturdy and can do the full travel system thing (car seat, carry cot or cocoon & rear facing).

Go have a play in a big shop with a wide range, I'm sure you'll grow to love and hate some and that will help narrow it down.

You're going to need to give a bit more information really.

What's your max budget?
What terrain will you be using this on? Urban only, rural, mixed?
Do you care about having newborn parent facing?
Do you envisage having another in short order and getting one which converts to a double?
Do you want to be able to put a carseat on the frame for mixed car/buggy journeys?

My top tip is to buy secondhand. The odds are high you won't really figure out what you need until after you've had the baby and if you buy secondhand in the first place you'll be able to sell it on and buy the one you really need 2nd hand without eating a massive loss. Every buggy you can imagine is being sold 2nd hand in great condition right now.

My favourite small light buggy is the Babyzen Yoyo. But if you don't prioritise parent facing and don't feel the need to faff around with car seats a quality umbrella fold which is suitable from birth like a Maclaren Techno would be both cheaper and more long term versatile.

Hi, sorry. More information.
Max budget £500. Mixed terrain. Newborn parent facing, not needed. Doesn't need to transform into a double. And yes we would like one ideally that has a removable car seat. Thanks, I'll have a look at your recommendations!
