Parent-facing and light... please help!

My seven month old is STILL in her Yoyo newborn pack as I cannot find a decent parent-facing light-weight buggy (we have stairs up). I know this topic has been raised before but I’m hoping something perfect may have since been invented.
Not a fan of the Bugaboo Bee, the Icandy Raspberry is too narrow in the seat (and loads of people have issues with it), the Babystyle Quail seat is as hard as a rock and £££, I haven’t seen the Cybex Balios S - anyone recommend it? The Baby Jogger Citi Tour Lux wasn’t great and I sent back a MaxiCosi Zelia as it was massively too wide. Hmm, I’m sounding like one of those people who just can’t be pleased, but I’m really not! Anyone have a Jané brand pushchair? They look like they could be the ticket but have seen some safety recalls.
Perhaps I’m overthinking this... help

There’s the cyber eezy s but it’s got a narrow seat - they’re in stock in my local mothercare if you wanted a look. Very similar to yoyo but parent facing.

There’s the Phil and teds mod but I don’t know how heavy it is.

PeachPotato · 21/02/2019 15:47

Oh and my friend had a bugaboo chameleon because she had stairs outside her house, so maybe that’s lighter than in looks?

RosieAway · 22/02/2019 18:58

Oh thanks PeachPotato. The Phil and Ted’s Mod does look good... maybe a bit heavy, think I’ve seen it 11 or 12kg. The Cyber Eezy Twist would work but maybe a bit flimsy for everyday. I think I need to rethink this.... no way am I going to get baby and pram upstairs in one any more anyway, so might have to put her in a seat in the hall and get something more around the 10-11lg mark. Thanks again

We have the joie mirus, not the fanciest but does the job and haven't had an issue with it!

Piewife · 22/02/2019 20:39

Cybex Mios looks good, but pricey.

I bought a Baby Jogger Vue as an in between, parent facing buggy. That's not a bad option.

RosieAway · 23/02/2019 20:57

Yep, the Mirus and Vue are probably all I need! Even to tie us over til I’m ready to face her out Sad

Still think there’s a gap in the market... I can’t be the only one struggling!

I know! I think buggy manufacturers get caught up on having a buggy that can face both ways, but there’s loads of us that just want parent facing

How many stairs do you have? I have the Cosatto Wow travel system it's not super super lightweight but not heavy either compared to lots of other prams/travel systems. We have four steep steps up to our house which isn't a problem to pull it up but might be different if you mean like a whole flight of stairs or whatever.
