Joolz Day vs Bugaboo Cameleon

Hello,

We’ve narrowed our search down to 2, but just wondering if anyone has experience of either of the above?

I like the look of the Joolz, however, the Cameleon seems lighter when I’m thinking about having to lift it into the car.

Important considerations are:

  • Public transport near me is woeful, so I drive everywhere.
  • We love being outdoors and going for long walks.
  • My husband is quite tall but I’m only 5”4 so need something suitable for both.

Any help would be really very much appreciated! Smile If you have either of these, would you buy them again?

For me, the Cameleon front-wheels were a nightmare. They would get stuck making it so hard to push. I think Joolz having a bit bigger front wheels will make a huge difference :)

@ellybo - Thanks! I noticed that and I must say, they do look really small. I wondered whether this might make it less comfortable for the baby, too, in addition to being so low down. I think the Joolz looks generally more solid, but that also makes it really heavy.

Total mine field! I thought we’d just go and buy something that looks good but it’s so confusing. Confused

I know the feeling. In general bigger wheels and air-filled ones are always easier to push but it can be a hassle to lift as they become so heavy. It's good to find something that is a nice compromise.

I would probably recommend air-filled wheels if you are realy outdoorsy haha! It's just so much nicer for both mum and baby :)

Btw I'm sure that Joolz day is less heavy than Cameleon. Bugaboos are usually heavy which can be surprising. Cameleon is 21 pounds so I'm almost certain that Day is less than that as well as most pushchairs same size. Of course the feel can be different depending on how easy it is to pop over things and where do you hold when lifting.

As said in previous conversations, I didn't get Joolz myself but it wins for me at least as far as I tested them. I wasn't that impressed by Bugaboo that I got as a first time mum. I felt the seller was really pushing it and not listening what we need so I went for it cos didn't know any better. Gosh, so annoying.

Sorry for the long post! Grin
