Stair issues - Need a light weight convertible

Hi all,
Need some advice on pushchairs.
I currently have a 6month old and working on next baby so will eventually need a double buggy.
I've recently moved house and there is 6steps from pavement then along a very uneven (communal) path to get to my gate then have more steps to get into house.
I currently use a silver cross pioneer which I admittedly struggle with on the steps with one child who is a baby, I don't do a lot of shopping on foot with buggy but occasionally will pick up a few supplies and it's a nightmare going upstairs.... so basically,
Any suggestions for a buggy that is,
Lightweight but sturdy
Not too difficult on steps
Can convert from single to double
Can't be side by side as won't fit in gate/doors/steps

I know I'm asking a lot but I hope someone has similar issue and can either give good buggy suggestion or perhaps other practical suggestions? 🤔
Thanks

Depending on your budget, I think the iCandy Peach would be the answer.

Do you use this buggy?
I had a play with it in mothercare in single mode and felt it wasn't noticeably lighter.
That was end of last year and did like the look of pioneer so might have allowed myself to be swayed.

Does it USB to be convertible to a double buggy? Couldn't you sling the toddler and buggy the newborn?

I currently use the Zen Yoyo, and am a huge fan. It weighs only 5 kilos and folds up tiny. With first child I had the Stokke Explory, but experience convinced me to go for lightest smallest thing. It's so so easy to carry when folded or even when not. (

Sorry about typos - USB should read have

We used a sling for newborn DD2 and pushchair for toddler DD1, then moved DD2 into the pushchair and DD1 started going on the buggy board/walking.

Ours is the britax b-mobile. Super lightweight, collapses with one hand (and a VERY compact fold)

I have just bought a mountain buggy duet for my 2yr old and 2 month old.

I have steps from my house to the front garden and can bump it up and down pretty easily fully laden.

It is side by side but not much wider than an ordinary pram.

It converts to a single.

Not that lightweight though and not a very compact fold.

I have yet to find the perfect buggy/ pram!

I'd prefer a convertible because I do enjoy babywearing and I can continue using it Inc every oldest is out of buggy. I don't want to not have a double because I dont drive and don't want to expose one to the elements, whether thats downpour or hot sun. This summer there was days I couldn't wear baby because it was too hot and I couldn't shade her, so had to put her in pram with canopy.
Also for family days out, would be better to have buggy seat each.

I will have a look at mountain duet

Thanks everyone
