specific requirements! impossible?

I'm after the perfect pushchair.
This is dd3 so I've gone through a fair number of pushchairs strollers etc. And I've never been able to find one that 'does it all' for me!

These are my requirements:
Big basket
Fold without taking bits apart
Stand when folded
Fully recline + sit up
Rain cover (fold small no hard bits)
Able to attach universal buggy board that doesn't mean my toes get squished.
Able to attach carseat
Not too heavy/bulky

Preferences
adjustable handle length
Front and rear facing
Carry cot option

Is this an impossible ask?

Concord Neo? Stands when folded. Can be folded both forward and rear facing without having to take bits apart, basket not huge but adequate, can attach car seat and carry cot.

eurochick · 04/07/2016 22:01

I was going to suggest one of the Uppababies too. I have the Cruz and think it does everything on your list although I can't comment on the buggy board one. The Vista is similar but with a bigger basket.

lookbeforeyouleap · 04/07/2016 22:05

Not sure about whether you can fit a buggy board but the Joie Chrome meets the rest of your requirements. I had one and loved it. Folds small enough to go in a Hyundai i10 boot, car forward or rear face. Buggy folds flat without having to remove it from base and it's reasonable priced.

milkyface · 04/07/2016 22:06

Joie chrome. I've got one and I love it.

Fomalhaut · 04/07/2016 22:09

I've got a mosey- it's pretty good. Steers the best of any buggy I've tried by far. Very comfy, full recline to very upright. Massive hood, very good quality build. Basket average sized. Fold is ok. Definitely not a one handed fold and not an easy one step like a city mini (my main gripe with it tbh) but... It's pretty good. There just isn't a buggy that does everything to be honest.

Definitely try before you buy. I had a similar list of criteria (reversible, light, easy fold, able to deal with snow) but we ended up getting more than one buggy.

I loved my double baby jogger, the way it felt and the folding.
I would love another but I'm not sure the basket is big enough on the singles that if you fill them too much they start to drag on the floor Hmm Grin

A baby jogger with a carry cot and bigger basket and car seat would be ideal!

We've got an icandy peach 3 and it does all these things but it comes apart in 2 bits. We've used ours for just under a year now and I LOVE it

OfficiallyUnofficial · 04/07/2016 22:26

Vote here for baby jogger, fits all the requirements and just misses two "preferences" - handle height and rear facing, though has big viewing panels so you can see baby.

Also 3 DCs here and the jogger has been my "stayer"

OfficiallyUnofficial · 04/07/2016 22:28

Jazz Ann I got 5 people's shoes and coats in a single jogger plus packs lunches! The bottom basket is big and the one in the bag of the seat stretches really far too!

thejoysofboys · 04/07/2016 22:30

Babystyle oyster does all that except stand upright when folded. I bloody loved mine (then DS2 arrived and I had to swap it for a P&Ts).

TheDuchessOfKidderminster · 04/07/2016 22:42

Cybex Priam? Not sure how different it is from the Balios other than being more expensive. The thing I particularly like about it is that you can push it easily one handed and that it has a really tight 'turning circle'. The buggy board made it a lot more difficult to steer though, so I was very pleased when bigger child stopped needing it.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 04/07/2016 22:43

Is there a car seat you can attach to a baby jogger?

OP posts:
TooTweeOrNotTooTwee · 04/07/2016 22:47

Also love the baby jogger city mini. I think you can attach a car seat but you have to remove the fabric. Don't quote me on this though, I never tried it.

My main quibble with it (and I do love it!) is that I didn't get on with the buggy board - kept kicking it. But otherwise a great buggy - been using it for four years / two DC now and still in good shape.

3littlebadgers · 04/07/2016 22:52

Sounds quite close to the iCandy raspberry. Love love love ours one of the only places DS will nap

JazzAnnNonMouse · 05/07/2016 05:12

Oh it's dangerous how much I like the look of the icandy raspberry!
Especially as on a review they said the basket is bigger than on a graco!

Now to start looking for preloved ones!

OP posts:
Hufflepuffin · 05/07/2016 08:26

You can get lots of adaptors for the baby jogger buggies, I know the maxi cosi ones also for cybex car seats, don't know about anything else! I have the versa that's now discontinued, the basket is amazing. It's heavy though, so if the premiere really is basically the same with an adjustable handle and lighter then it will be amazing for you! Not sure about freestanding though.

OfficiallyUnofficial · 05/07/2016 10:10

You can get car seat adaptors and I swear the buggy board thing happens with every pram, I hated mine. Now just sit the 4yo old the handle bar of the jogger when she gets too tired to walk, seems to work Grin

JazzAnnNonMouse · 05/07/2016 16:56

I know I've tried several pushchairs strollers buggy's all of varying structure and price and they all bugger my toes or cripple my back!

If anyone is selling a raspberry pm me. They seem to be hard to get hold of pre loved and I don't like to buy new and expensive as I might change my mind!

Are you near Bexley in London Jazz?

ACatCalledFang · 05/07/2016 21:48

Just wanted to add that the iCandy Raspberry is brilliant. Only downsides are I'm not sure you can use it with a buggy board (John Lewis claimed not when we bought it a year ago), the storage pod for the rain cover is a pain in the arse, and it's not suitable for off-road. Oh, and no one-handed fold. But for ease of manoeuvring, the freestanding fold, the size of the basket and lots of other things, it is great. I can get it round even tiny corner shops and can always wedge it in the buggy bay on the bus. We would really recommend it.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 06/07/2016 14:02

No I'm not but I'm happy to arrange a courrier Grin

There's a place called Katie's playpen in Blackfen and they do discount for cash. We brought all our baby stuff there. They're really helpful.
