Help - does this buggy exist?!

Today 06:36 MarmitePhil

I don't know if this is the right place to post this!

I'm hunting for a buggy which parent faces and has a lie flat recline (rather than a tilting bucket seat) and also good wheels for tougher terrain.

Essentially like the baby jogger versa GT but with a seat which reclines to lie flat.

I had the armidillo flip XT but the suspension was very poor & the steering even worse so eventually it had to be returned.

My baby is surviving in a little Mcclaren pushchair until I find her a new something but she looks very uncomfortable & doesn't drop off to sleep.

Any help very much appreciated!

I'm trying to see one in a mothercare where they have them but branded as easywalker mini.

I'm between that and the oyster 2 which handles much better than my previous armadillo flip XT - I've read somewhere that you can get pneumatic tyres for the oyster 2 but I'm not sure if it's true!

Cybex balios

Phil and teds are great all terrain prams, and the seats lay completely flat, as well as come with a carrycot if you want one.

I've got a verve for when I need all terrain, it's excellent!

The Easywalker mini is a different model to the mosey, it's more of. Stroller.

There is an easywalker mini which is exactly the same as the mosey but has mini branding (as in the car). Identical in every other way. They have them (or had them at least) in the mothercare near me.

They also so a stroller called mini just to be confusing!

I started the other thread about missing parent facing......it seems like the Easywalker mosey is what I was looking for!
Going to order it soon!

Ok folks, I have now gone buggy crazy!

I bought an Oyster 2, which is great (much better suspension than the armadillo & much much better steering, easy to push one handed).

But the seat is fairly small, and the major problem is that the hood is ridiculously small, so doesn't protect baby at all if they are laid flat.

I ALSO bought an Easywalker Mosey, which just seems a bit generally disappointing - seems clanky & awkward to fold/open, doesn't look very slick (ok that really shouldn't matter I know) but the main problem is it doesn't fold at all with the muff on and the holes for the straps in the muff are two big slashes which are not in the right place for the lap straps on an older child, and don't seem very comfy to lie on. Oh and the lap strap can't be used without the bits which come down across the shoulders/chest.

But I may be stuck with it now since purchased from an online shop not a JL type place so I'm sure they'll be fussy about returns and make me pay postage to return even though I don't think it's really fit for purpose!

If only I knew how to go about manufacturing the perfect buggy I think it's still not been made!

Shock I'm awaiting my order of the Easywalker Mosey and you've just crushed me marmitephil. I was so sure it was going to be the one but your comments are worrying!
My friend has an oyster from last year and she doesn't rate it a lot.

I think from the sounds of things you may have been better off with the Cybex Priam with lux seat and all terrain wheels

MarmitePhil · 03/07/2016 16:38

Oh no Kstar8 I'm so sorry! The Easywalker has loads going for it, you may love it, let me know what you think :-)
