What will the baby be wearing whilst in the carrycot attachment in pram?

At the moment there is just a mattress at the bottom that you buy sheets for and there is an apron and a hood. But I can't work out what the baby would be wearing when in the carrycot. I'm thinking a snowsuit maybe? It's due in February so only a few months of bad weather.

It's a Stokke Xplory by the way if that makes any difference.

Either a snowsuit (the first size will only last a couple of months until grown out of anyway!) or put cardigan, hat and mittens over sleep suit and a blanket tucked up to armpit height

It depends how much time you will spend outdoors in the cold. If you will be walking a lot and therefore outdoors a lot I would invest in a snowsuit. If you are only using the Pram for short durations then a cardigan and a really warm blanket should suffice.
Babies do get cold quickly so whatever you choose a warm hat and mittens are essential in February.

Depending on temperature outside either a snuggley babygro with a Blanket or cardigan or similar.

Thank you! I have lots of snowsuits from my sons newborn stash so that should be fine for when were out and about. I keep looking at those sheepskin liners you can get but then I thought that could be dangerous if the baby turned its head to the side.

I'm planning on my son being at preschool 2.5 days a week instead of just mornings so really hoping to get out and about walking lots.

I think you can use the sheepskin liners with newborns but you're recommended to put a sheet over it so they can't put their nose and mouth in the fuzz. Anyway I still would dress as people have said above whether I had a sheepskin or not. At least they are out of the wind in the carrycot!

I've always just done hat and cardi but then layered with a lot of blankets depending on the weather. Advantage of this is you can take off some when going in and out of shops/homes without waking the baby by undressing them. I also have a pram cover which is quite thick (like a duvet)
