I candy raspberry?

Please come and tell me about your I candy raspberry. I am keen to hear about its good and bad points from people who have been using it for a while.

In particular: How do you kind the fold mechanism? Is it reasonably compact when folded, and does it still fold and free stand properly when you're using a newborn pod or footmuff? Do you have any problems with the wheels? What's it like on uneven ish (but still urban!) surfaces? Is it easily manoeuvrable and easy to steer? How is the hood? What's it like to use generally? Any other particular pros or cons?

I live in London, with no car, so use the tube, train and bus a lot. I live in a small terraced house with an extremely narrow front door, so small light and compact is what I'm looking for. The raspberry looks like it ticks all my boxes, but I'd like some first hand info.

Thank you!

I don't know about the raspberry, but in London, tube and bus use, stairs, I would get the babyzen yoyo 0+. Folds tiny you can carry over arm like a bag ( has strap and bag), and carry baby in sling or arm down escalator or stairs. On buses it's small enough to fit by your feet when you sit down

Thanks Art. The yoyo is definitely on my shortlist, it looks amazing!

I'm just curious about the raspberry as all the reviews I've seen appear to be written by people who have only tried it out for about 5 minutes, which isn't that helpful.

Hi - I have had a Raspberry since January for DD and we love it! I find it really easy to fold, basically you push a button on the side and press the handle in then pull it together and it locks into place, the free stand still works fine with the newborn pod in (we don't have the footmuff yet). It's really easy to steer, the wheels are fine for me on the street and in the park however I haven't gone off road with it yet, I suspect the wheels are too small for the countryside. We especially love the storage box at the front, perfect for the rain cover. All round it's a great stroller for a good price, stylish AND practical.

Ive had mine since january and love it. It does have some cons it can rattle on uneven pavement not majorly. With the footmuff the straps are a little tight cannot comment on the newborn pod as I got mine when my son was 5 months so never bothered. Everytime I leave the house with it im guaranteed to get a compkex just in the last few days the very hard faced gp and the lady in the bank came out from the counted to ask me about it just to name a few random ones its brilliant pram really and I geypt bored quickly with pram but I just keep falling back in love with my raspberry Smile good luck
