Please recommend a stroller to me!

Hi, My daughter is now 15 months and up until now we've had a Babystyle Oyster. I love the chassis - it's light, moves well and is easy to put up and down. I also like that it has a bar handle rather than 2 separate handles but I guess most umbrella strollers wont have this.

The thing I really don't like about the Oyster is the seat - even in it's most upright position my daughter isn't able to sit upright. She just slides down!

Can anyone recommend a stroller that isn't too expensive but is fairly lightweight to push and feels nice to push? I usually walk everywhere day to day as I don't have a car.
Thanks

Baby jogger city mini or city lite? The single handlebar is much more comfortable than two handles when you are pushing it a lot! Boots are doing 15% off so the City lite would be about £165 iirc.

I would recommend Raspberry from ICandy, it cost me under £500, easy to push and not too heavy.

Baby zen yoyo. So light and folds like a dream.

When mine were young - (too many years ago) you used to be able to get the stripey Maclaren buggy - so simple and cheap. You could fold it with one hand and practically twirl it around your head. Can you still get anything similar? Just been out with a friend and the buggy was so heavy and complicated to fold it would have been easier to have stayed at home!

Thanks. Definitely want to go with an umbrella type stroller. They're lighter and cheaper than travel system type ones!
Yes I know the maclaren ones you mean. Pushchairs seem so much more complicated these days!

Ps I know the umbrella strollers have separate handles but does anyone have anything to say about the uppababy g-luxe?

I love my silver cross pop, I bought it for my 2 year old and it's so easy to push he has lots of space and is so comfy. I just wished I'd found it sooner best pushchair I've ever had. I got mine in mother care I paid £80 instead of £140. also the weight it can go upto is 25 kg instead of 15 kg like most stroller / pushchair Smile

That sounds good. Might have a look at one of those!

Anyone got anything to say about the recaro easy life? I love that it has a bar handle but I'm concerned that it's not height adjustable. I'm quite short...

Ive just bought a Chicco London, it was £100 reduced down to £50 in Mothercare. Comes with cosy toes and rain cover, easy to steer and folds down well. Can't fault it Smile

What about a Nuna pepp, that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head that has an adjustable handlebar.

I've only seen the recaro on a shop floor, don't recall the handle height. I'm not a stroller fan at all so have always gone for bar handle options where possible. We had a red kite zumi for quite a while, which was great for the money.
