Babyjogger versa, thoughts & in the flesh in London?

Does anyone know where the babyjogger city versa might be stocked in store in the London area?

I'm really keen to check it out as it looks great online but not sure where stocks it and do want to see it before buying!!

John Lewis have them online but not in store annoyingly.

I looked at the m&p armadillo flip xt which I liked but it was a bit clunky to steer and doesn't have a bumper bar etc.. The uppababy vista seems too big and heavy. I want to see if the versa is smaller (and will be that elusive 'only need one' buggy).

Thanks!

They had one in John Lewis Kingston when I was looking , but that was last autumn. Not sure if that's too far.

I looked there and they said they didn't stock it in store. They must have stopped. Boooo!

Thanks though!

I had one and it was sturdy but big and bulky for me personally, felt chunky in shops and cafes, easy fold though but harness seemed but cheap and very fiddly height adjustment , also my baby didn't seem to sit straight in it for some reason, sorry am not more positive , I bought without seeing in a shop special offer online and managed sell on without much loss but was very glad not to have paid full price, for not much more I'd get a bugaboo bee, brilliant for young babies and comfy for . toddlers, always loved using this buggy amongst others as it is not an off road at all, also the basket on the versa was odd, very romy and accessible, fab I thought, but, very flimsy material unsupported beneath and easily seemed to hang low to ground and catch on kerbs. I know some people love a versa but I would say try hard to see one before you buy one , maybe collar someone on the street if you can!!!

Oh yes in ref to above, the versa isn't much difference size wise to vista and the vista is better designed in my view where the versa let's me down...... haven't used a flip but seemed nice when I looked recently but I never have much luck with mamas and papas prams , always seem. To get faults and they not good at sorting, that was a couple of years ago but it put me.off a.bit, the flip seat looks great though and love big hood

Ah thanks so much! I have been put off the versa a bit by hearing that it is quite big etc.

That's not very encouraging re mamas and papas customer service, how annoying!

I was eyeing up the bee, they're very expensive new though aren't they!

Thanks again.

I love my versa. it is Def that bit smaller and crucially not as wide as vista. there were things I liked on it more too like hood on carrycot is bigger. It depends on how you use it and what for. Mine has been an ace shopping pushchair, light, easy to push but huge basket. great for dog walking which I do most days. I still ended up getting a small fold up buggy to store in car and take on hols. But if I'm going shopping on bus, then I take versa as it's more sturdy, comfiest for DS, easier to push and big basket. But if you don't do much off road walking and primarily a city pushchair the I can see why Bugaboo Bee appeals - they are everywhere in London, for a reason. HTH

Thanks pumping! I'll try and get a look in the flesh. Also looking at m&p armadillo flip xt so pondering!
