Buggies for older children

Hi all,
I have spent so long researching buggies for older kids (up to age 6) and I kept coming across such hateful posts by judgemental people! So please let this be a thread that helps parents choose the best buggy. Parents who may not drive, who may need to walk somewhere not a snail's pace, who may have a healthy child who happens to be sick and doesn't want to walk/scoot/ride a bike. Or a parent who has a child with special needs that aren't immediately obvious to a complete stranger, or even a parent who may just want an extra option for exercising without childcare. Please don't assume the parents are lazy and are breeding lazy offspring destined for obesity. You get the picture!
The buggy market seems to be booming in this area, so I'd like to start the thread off with the awesome BabyJogger Summit x3. Its big enough for a 6 year old to dose off in. I would probably be too big for most car boots (I have not tried this, it just looks big when folded unless you take off the big wheels etc).
I'd be really interested in any other buggies other folks have found useful for big kids.
Thanks so much,
x

I'm not sure about the Summit Xc. I had one and it was incredible. Most amazing buggy. It actually packs down pretty small with the back wheels off and they pop off very easily indeed. So, I would totally recommend it, BUT it would not be comfortable now for my very tall 4.6yo. We got rid of it when he was 3 but by then his head pretty much touched the hood.

At 6 a neurotypical child should be able to walk at a reasonable (if slight compromise) pace as an adult.

Please don't lump Special needs children in with children who can and should be walking. There are special buggies and wheelchairs for special needs children.

Having one child who genuinely couldn't walk at 6 (and one who would have walked all the examples listed at 2 and 3) I am totally aghast why anyone would want to discourage a fit and healthy child from walking

CharlesRyder - totally agree, amazing buggy. And full disclosure, I was speedwalking a sick child to the GP, its possible he could have dozed off anywhere at the time. But the buggy was a delight to push, despite the heavy load and torrential downpour. Definitely couldn't have managed this with any of the other buggies I have owned.

Toffeelatteplease - that was exactly the sort of answer the OP didn't need.
My son is nearly 5 with SN and he's a long way off a special buggy and will certainly not need a wheelchair.

Meanwhile, we own the following for our nearly 5 year old:
iCandy Raspberry
Easywalker Mini - old and new versions although the older is better for a bigger child
Joolz Geo
Uppababy Vista (I would like a Cruz though because there's an extra inch on the hood and apparently the suspension is now better)
Baby Jogger City Mini Zip and Elite - although the GT and Summit would also be good.
Babystyle Oyster Lite

The BOB pushchairs are easy to push, and may be a possibility. They have good leg room.
The Kiddy City 'n Move has a big seat, as does the Joolz Day, and Baby Jogger Versa. The Bugaboo Bee and Stokke Crusi are possibilities as well.
I think the best pushchair for a bigger child is probably the TFK Joggster Twist as it has a huge seat back and big hood.
The Combi pushchairs have good leg room too - you generally need leg room more than head height for an older child.
The Britax B-Motion and B-Agile, and Joie Litetrax have good sizes seats too. I would certainly try anything before buying though.

A bit rambly, but these are all options to try!

The front seat on a phil and teds sport/explorer/navigator is very tall and generally spacious but it's a heavy push.
