Hi, I'm after an umbrella fold style pram/pushchair/stroller. It's a second pram to our silver cross wayfarer, which is a pretty rubbish pram unless you only want to wheel it round shopping centres/smooth even ground.
My requirements for an umbrella fold are to accommodate my 8 month child and give them a comfortable experience with the ability to lay flat (or almost flat), on pavements/in shops/the park/public access forest walks with loose stone paving. My budget is £50 > £70. I have been looking at the following online and would appreciate your experiences of these which can be positive/negative or advice/recommendations I should look at;

Chicco London hoop with footmuff £100 reduced to £50,
Chiccco Echo £100 reduced to £55,
Mamas & papas Imp £80 reduced to £45,
Mamas & papas tour £85 reduced to £58,
Mamas & papas swirl with footmuff £130 reduced to £50

Thank you

I'd check the weight limits on them. I had a cheap Chicco which started collapsing when dS was about 18-24 months old because it had a pretty low weight limit, which DS had got bigger than.

Sorry, I didn't explain very well. I meant that you should look at their weight limits, and you may find that some are lower than others, which means that your child may be too heavy for them before you're ready to give up using a pushchair. not that your child would be too heavy now! ??

To be honest an umbrella stroller will probably be worse than the Wayfarer for walking on anything other than pavements as the suspension tends to be terrible.

If you want to do forest walks, loose gravel paths then you need something with decent sized wheels.

I'd always look for a second hand Baby Jogger City Mini. In fact I'd sell the silver cross to fund it.
