iCandy Peach Blossom 3 + Buggy Board?

I'm due DC2 in August when DS1 will be 2. We have a dog so I need a good tandem that can hack off roading (narrow house so want tandem). I've narrowed the choice down to the iCandy PB3, Uppababy Vista 2015 or the Oyster Max. From what I've read the iCandy is best off road but now lve read you can't use a buggy board with it?! I just wondered if anyone actually has and did it work? This won't be an issue yet but I imagine when DS is 3 I won't need the tandem configuration but good to have the buggy board option? Don't want to spend a fortune and find it doesn't work for us later!!

I have to say, I wouldn't say the PB3 was the best off road. If you want an off road tandem I would send you off to look first at the TFK Joggster Twist with Multi X carrycot / Buddy seat or the Mountain Buggy +One. Those are probably the two best off road options although I have seen a Micralite Twofold in mud!
After that I would suggest the Vista or Joolz Geo would be the next best options but I wouldn't say either would be true off road pushchairs but they would handle some mud, rough terrain, short grass etc.
The Oyster Max and PB3 I would leave at home / in town. The Peach Terrain / Jogger is the off road iCandy, and that can't be made into a tandem.
Meanwhile back to the PB3 - iCandy's stance is that the rear axle is not designed to carry the weight of a baby. If you buy a new PB3 and need a warranty repair then iCandy will refuse to do it if you have had a board on the back (and they can see the scratches). So your warranty would be void. I have seen Peaches with boards on though.

The thing about icandy's argument on buggyboards (their warranty thing is common btw, most pushchairs have this clause in their paperwork) is you don't normally fit the board on the back axle, it's best fitted to the uprights.
